Rebel fighters look through an album of Condoleezza Rice photos inside Moammar Gadhafi’s compound in Bab al-Aziziya in Tripoli, Libya. Over the years, Gadhafi’s comments and actions related to the former U.S. secretary of state have raised eyebrows.

An album filled with photos of former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was discovered in the seized compound of embattled Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi. In a 2007 interview, he referred to Rice as “my darling black African woman” and gave her the pet name “Leezza.”

He would get to meet his “darling” soon after, as the United States and Libya negotiated an easing of relations and an end to Libya’s weapons-of-mass-destruction aspirations. Perhaps Gadhafi’s crush played some role in that rare foreign policy achievement for the Bush administration.  —PZS

USA Today:

In an interview in 2007 with Al-Jazeera TV, Gadhafi gushed about the former secretary of State, the Associated Press reports.

“I support my darling black African woman,” he said. “I admire and am very proud of the way she leans back and gives orders to the Arab leaders. ... Leezza, Leezza, Leezza. ... I love her very much. I admire her, and I’m proud of her, because she’s a black woman of African origin.”

I enjoyed reading your comment; so thank you for being a friend of the truth at a time and place many coward people would prefer to be complacent rather than speaking out in support of truth and justice!

If the West in general and the United States in particular were not double-faced hypocrites, then they would support rebelions and uprisings against the worst despotic regimes in the Arab world, like the monorchies in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Morocco. Those are the protected puppets of the United States and the West.

The USA is kind of like Italy.  Just because I say something to your face
indicating friendship or peace doesn’t mean I won’t stab you in the back.

On Russia Today’s program yesterday they reported on Italy’s Berslusconi and
the close relationship and warm greetings he gave Gaddafi right up until he
stabbed Gaddafi and Libya in the back by supporting NATO’s attack on Gaddafi.
RT interviewed an Italian in Milan who said himself Italy had a history of
changing sides.

I don’t believe anything the press tells me and I come to my own conclusion
after I’ve listened to different sources.  Unfortuantely lying is a regular part of
the media.  Libya had sometyhiong in common with all the other Arab / Muslim
countries the USA attacks - it supported Palestinian rights and opposed Israel.

There will come a day when a mass murderer from Israel like Netanyahu comes
to the USA and he will not get a standing ovation from almost every member in
the US congress (they are afraid of AIPAC) and the US congress will place the
interests of Americans above the intetrests of Israelis.

Insiders report that Leezzaa’s nickname for Gadhafi was ‘Moam’, because of the sounds she used to make when she locked herself in her SoS office at lunchtime, stripped, and pressed herself against the 3-D mural of Gadhafi she had painted on the back of her closet doors.

Arabian Sinbad, you say that silence is complicity.Actually, most of the time silence is fear.Fear of being killed or wounded.Fear for ones family.Fear of losing ones job.Fear of being ostracized for your opinion or beliefs…This fear seems to be a very powerful tool used by many despots in the middle east to control thier own subjects…Also,Ms.Rice may have been incorrect in some of her assesments and beliefs, but she is by no means anyones slave.

Many will miss the sarcasm in Qaddafi’s saying, “... the way she leans back and gives orders to the Arab leaders…!”

I disagree with blogdog in considering this unworthy news! Historians who would study official American terrorism during the Bush era, must by necessity analyze C. Rice because she was his closest adviser and Secretary of State.

Remember that she was a servant-slave to her white evil master Bush, and despite being highly educated with a PhD, far more educated than her evil master, and supposedly smarter than her stupid, dull master, she acted as if she was still living in the era of slavery; because she never challenged or advised him concerning his evil, terrorist policies. So in a way, if justice would ever have a way to American evil politicians, Condoleeza, or Leezza according to Qaddafi, has too much blood on hands too; simply because silence is complicity!
