Protests continued Sunday across the restive Middle East. New clashes in Tunisia pitted demonstrators against the interim government, while thousands took to the streets in Morocco. In Libya, meanwhile, government security forces pressed a violent crackdown on protesters, reportedly killing dozens of people.

Demonstrations also continued in Iran, Bahrain and Yemen. —JCL

The death toll in the Libyan city of Benghazi has risen to 104, according to Human Rights Watch, after at least 20 people were killed on Saturday. There are reports of dozens of anti-government protesters shot in the eastern city by army and security forces. The pro-government Al-zahf al-akhdar newspaper warned on Saturday that the government would “violently and thunderously respond” to the protests, and said those opposing the regime risked “suicide”. One witness told Reuters, “Dozens were killed ... We are in the midst of a massacre here.”

Apparently there’s a cabal of hacker/bloggers using
Facebook as a vehicle to foment uprisings around the Arab
world.  Wait a minute isn’t Zuckerberg Jewish——I knew it-
—-it’s all a Zionist plot to take over the world!!!
