And too late for an ‘investigation’ into whether or not these men were farmers, Taliban or just someone’s version of freedom fighters. Horrible things are still going on in Afghanistan and the only hope for peace is to do a deal with the Taliban, so it seems pretty stupid to be killing farmers you claim are Taliban and then peeing on them. The Taliban say this won’t affect their negotiations with the Americans because the truth is they want the Americans gone by 2014 and they will go on negotiating no matter what.
