Malcolm X

Thomas Hagan, formerly known as Talmadge X Hayer, was the only one of Malcolm X’s killers to cop to the crime. After spending 45 years in jail and on work-release, the contrite Hagan has been paroled.

BBC:

Hagan, who has repeatedly expressed regret for his actions, applied for parole 16 times before a board approved his request last month.

He had been allowed to spend five nights a week at his Brooklyn home on a work-release programme for the past 22 years.

While I wasn’t exactly a fan of Malcolm X, he didn’t deserve to be murdered. Hagan actually didn’t have it that bad, considering his crime: about half of his sentence served on a work-release program that allowed him to be home five nights a week—for 22 years!—instead of in a lock-up during lockdown.

Yes, his youth is gone. Tough stuff; mine is, too, and I never harmed a flea.

I might sound “radical” to some, but this person is a traitor to his culture. He says it was “rage and youth” that made comment such a vile crime. “Sorry, some things you just cannot take back, and though he has repented (which I am thankful for…), he allowed the government and the Nation of Islam to use him in the vilest way. He should be branded forever a traitor by the people and have the government and the Nation of Islam find him a place to live, like they have done with all their “lackeys.”

As a traitor to his people, his very being represents one of the very reason Americans African descent are still catching hell…..he “sold out” his people…...and that is filth you cannot wash off, nor can time erase his actions.

Wow!  I am very sorry to hear that.  This is terrible news.
