For several insightful and detailed reports on the situation in Japan now, Google Japan Times, the English language newspaper. Especially in the March 20 edition, a story “Disaster Analysis You May Not Hear Elsewhere.”

Lights are on but nuclear politicos are not home.
Hopefully, the worst is behind them. Tepco needs to recognize the other person is them if they had been thinking that way and not “greed” they may have weathered tsunami and minimized extreme losses to equipment and perhaps Eco-system.
Minus lights going out.

Wouldn’t it have been better to leave the lights off? So the workers would not be able the see the flesh flaying from the bones of their co-workers, and watch their own teeth and hair fall to the floor?
