Are Movie Directors Overrated?
“Directing a movie is a very overrated job, we all know it. You just have to say yes or no. What else do you do? Nothing. ‘Maestro, should this be red?’ Yes. ‘Green?’ No. ‘More extras?’ Yes. ‘More lipstick?’ No. Yes. No. Yes. No. That’s directing.”

Like many of my colleagues, I assume, I’m growing deeply frustrated with the need for “learning objectives”—that list of superficial projections and assumptions that most syllabi these days are required to contain (“Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to … ”).

Dell’s new 10-inch touchscreen Inspiron Duo looks and runs like a portable tablet but can also be popped into a laptop shell and used like a traditional notebook, similar to one of the new Acer tablets. The Duo starts at $550. Dell laptop ac adapter has already released the 5-inch Streak tablet.
Huge thanks for that valuable list. The part that I have enjoyed the most was the one about shooting the laptop. You know it hasn’t surprised me at all because Israel is a specific country. The army is very important there (As you know even woman are working in the Israel’s army). So they can do anything they want to. Shooting a laptop is not the most creepy thing that can happen there, that’s why you need to be really careful out there. I have been few times in that country and the main advices from my friends were to be highly careful. By the way one time few soldiers in Israel have taken my laptop parts, the battery and so on. With no reason to do that of course. However thanks one more time for that list, it was really interesting to read some articles from there. Oh and I will be definitely waiting for more nice stuff from you in the future.
