Remember Kenneth Starr? You can bet anyone associated even peripherally with Bill Clinton’s administration does. Starr, former United States solicitor general and the major driving force behind the public exposure and investigation of the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal, is leaving his position as dean at Pepperdine University Law School in Malibu to be president of Baylor University in Waco, Texas.  —KA

Los Angeles Times:

A Texas native, Starr will become the 14th president of Baylor, located in Waco. With the announcement of Starr’s appointment effective June 1, Pepperdine President Andrew K. Benton announced the launch of a nationwide search for a new law school dean.

He was America’s “Grand Inquistor” for awhile.  He always had a slight smirk when he talked——beware of such people they have their own agenda.

With any luck, Starr will attract millions more Republicans to Texas - even more than the millions already there - so they can lead the secessionist movement there to victory. Once the Texas Republic is established, we can be sure they will replace bankruptcy with slavery; public schools with child labor; Unemployment Benefits, Welfare and Social Security with shantytowns, prisons and workhouses; and Medicare/Medicaid with paupers’ graves. Irresistably attracted by the prospect of sucking lifeblood and profit from such a vast newly created well of human suffering and oppression, Republicans will migrate and swarm there by the millions. They can be encouraged to emigrate there with special tax breaks on deposits left in US banks. Then, once the Republicans are all there, it will be time to freeze and confiscate their assets, cut off all communication and travel between the USA and Texas, and put up an electrified border fence, mine fields and machine gun nests every 200 yards to keep any of them from coming back.

Shouldn’t someone be investigating him?  I mean,
there’s got to be something in his past that needs
exposed.  You just need to dig a little harder.
Independently, mind you.  But keep digging.

Careerwise, is this considered a step up or a step down?

I mean, I’d rather have a nice little house in Malibu than a humongous mansion in
Waco. Yecch!
