Alaskan underdog and U.S. Senate candidate Joe Miller scored a startling victory over incumbent Lisa Murkowski in August’s Republican primary, but in political time during an election year, August was eons ago, and now Miller needs another boost from Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee and other tea-party-friendly conservatives to carry him through Tuesday.  —KA

ABC News:

Republican heavy-hitters and television stars join Palin and husband Todd today at a Miller “Change D.C.” rally in Anchorage. The rally coincides with the release of a new poll by the Hays Research Group that shows Miller trailing Murkowski, who is running as a write-in candidate, and Democratic challenger Scott McAdams. The poll found write-in candidates, which presumably includes Murkowski, with 34 percent of the vote; McAdams with 29 percent; and Miller with 23 percent.

I actually HAVE inside information on some of the major contributors to Karl Rove’s
American Crossroads. I have information as to how much they donated, and more
importantly WHY they donated and how at least one candidate was willing to sell
her vote on a major issue to secure funding from American Crossroads….view for
yourself and you tell me.

Nah, he is falling fast up here. There aren’t enough days
left for any big changes.
Unfortunately, the Dems are moving pretty fast into the
Murkowski camp. If the Dems paid attention they could get
McAddams in there. He is by far the best guy for the job
right now.

It’s encouraging to know that even in Alaska, someone found to be that bat-shit crazy, and just flat-out blatantly crooked, will lose support before the election.  The ones who are STILL going to vote for Miller would probably do so if he was found stark naked with BOTH a live boy and a dead girl.

This meathead needed to heed the oldest of political axioms, it is better to remain silent and let people think your an ignorant asshole, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

He still has a chance though, after all, these people elected Sarah governor.

Despite the trappings of flag and suit, this guy looks like something the cat dragged in.

Message to Joe: Do not try the House look unless you have the ability and balls to carry it off. Otherwise you just come off as a real creep.

Or is this facial fungus look getting us prepared for the Taliban-style government you have in mind?
