Never mind that the two rockets were fired by nobody knows who and that Israel has killed about twenty Gazan civilians so far this year including two youths with bullets to the chest and head who were in the fields armed with…...gardening implements. CNN did not report this.

That the world community—even as frail as it is—doesn’t—can’t?—put a stop to this decades-old insanity proves how sick the determination of the powerful to overwhelm the less powerful, is.  We are all more or less enslaved to violence as the only, or the best way to achieve justice, power, money, security, whatever, for one side at the expense of the other side. If we were not, we would stand up, demand justice for both sides, and put a stop to it.
