Former Israeli soldier Anat Kamm, who has been under house arrest since December 2009, attends a court hearing in Tel Aviv in January 2010.

In a plea deal with Israeli authorities, former soldier Anat Kamm has admitted to leaking more than 2,000 classified military documents to the Haaretz newspaper, including information on an Israeli operation aimed at killing West Bank Palestinian militants.

The BBC:

Anat Kamm pleaded guilty in return for the prosecution dropping more serious charges, which included spying and harming state security.

According to the charges, she passed more than 2,000 documents to the daily Haaretz newspaper.

Kamm, 24, will be sentenced at a later date and faces a maximum jail sentence of 15 years.

Perspective:

Don’t you know that when US solder kill / murders an Iraqi/ Afgani (Moslem and/or
Christians) children, women, grandmothers…etc…US soldiers NEVER go to prison…they
DO NOT spend one hour in prison. Its NOT a crime in the US !!!

Not true.

While some unjustified killing does get by, the more egregious incidents will be tried.  There are after all alot of moral minded people in the military.

The real crime is political and keeping them there.

The same goes for Israeli IDF attacks on International Peace Workers. I am sure that you have heard of Rachel Corrie, Tom Hurndall and many others who have been brutally crushed/murdered, injured by Israel’s IDF killers/murderers.

Once in a while we see someone who shows us what the
best in us looks like.  She has showed the Israeli army
what real bravery is, just as Bradley Manning has for
the US imperial forces.  Both should be awarded the
Nobel Peace Prize.

‘IDF’s highest ranking officers gave advanced written permission to fire at innocent people during targeted assassinations.IDF commanders approved killing people even when it was possible to apprehend them’ Just some info from Haaretz.Systematic, sanctioned extermination of another race of people. Sounds a lot like genocide to me. Care to comment Inherit the Wind? Save them before they become what they fled.
