Israeli planes and helicopters were witnessed firing missiles at targets across the Gaza Strip on Friday. Haaretz reported seven strikes on targets ranging from a refugee camp to a cheese factory, but no casualties. The BBC reported 13 strikes.

Update: Israel said the targets were facilities used to make and store rockets. AFP reported that three Palestinian children were injured in the attack. An Israeli official later threatened escalated military action if rocket attacks from Gaza did not stop. —PZS

Haaretz:

A fifth missile hit a cheese factory in Gaza City, setting it on fire, witnesses and Hamas officials said. Hospital officials said two children were injured by flying debris.

Helicopters struck twice in the central refugee camp of Nusseirat, destroying a metal foundry. There were no casualties.

Your tax dollars at work. Aren’t we proud killing mainly innocent children who have been illegally blockaded for 2 1/2 years. Mr. Obama and Congress proudly vote down the Goldstone report which details the war crimes of Israel. They continue to send over $7 million a day to feed the rogue Israeli war machine. Wake up America!

I would also recommend:

“The Shooting of Tom Hurndall” available as an instant watch through Netflix and Steven Spielberg’s “Munich” as somewhat lite studies of Mossad and Zionist excesses.

Hmmmm, an extremely disproportionate response to a few sporadic attacks by an opressed and frustrated group with no opprotunity for advancement into a social strata which might induces any self-worth. I can totally see why America is their BFF.

The Zionist entity has been riding roughshod over the Gaza Strip since Disengagement, when Gaza was created as the world’s largest open-air prison.

Hamas is not a bunch of choirboys either and remains the second biggest stumbling block to Middle East peace. The Likud and other (Neo-)Zionist parties are the first.

Below is a link to a film depicting the realities of growing up in Gaza. Fair warning: It’s heartbreaking.

http://www.archive.org/details/ChildrenOfGaza

Gazans are armed with rocks, Kalasnikov’s (AK-47s) and over grown bottle rockets called Qassams, which are more nuisance than deadly. Israel uses without impunity US supplied F-15s, flechette bombs and phosphorescents. It’s not a fair fight. Zionist arrogance was checked when Hezbolah stepped in with some real weapons. Israel would have proceeded to wipe Lebanon off the map if the world had not stepped in to prevent a conflagration from the Mediterranean to the Hindu Kush.

This (Neo-)Zionism, like National Socialism before it, must be stopped, destroyed if necessary.

This is a too long open wound festering threatening world security
