Irrational Israel Intimidates IranPosted on Nov 6, 2011
Israel’s attempts to threaten Iran are insane; the Sky Watch tower in Zuccotti Park causes more than a little unease; and a new app hints at a future in which phones will replace cash and credit cards. These discoveries and more below. On a regular basis, Truthdig brings you the news items and odds and ends that have found their way to Larry Gross, director of the USC Annenberg School for Communication. A specialist in media and culture, art and communication, visual communication and media portrayals of minorities, Gross helped found the field of gay and lesbian studies. The key words in this article are ‘Irrational Israel’ and I doubt Israel intimidates Iran with its weekly threats and idle banter.
What saddens me is how it is framed in the U.S. media. We have no dog in this fight and the American population is war weary. I vote that the US sit out this Israeli paranoia fantasy.
Israel tour guide hacks like Howard would have anyone believe that it is Iran who is the bully here when it is precisely the Israels who are talking the most shit and have been at it for years.
Israel is not a signatory of the NPT like Iran and indiscriminately attacks its neighbors civilians with little or no provication which Iran does not.

centuries, maybe millennia even.
the insanely sanest people just need a war too much at this time to let
go of such a tool to preserve or improve their ‘sad’ lot [laughing all the
way to the bank]
and a war at home and not just abroad!! tnx bozhidar balkas vancouver

u.s supremacists [asocialists, sybarites, addicts to power] or world
supremacists need badly a war now.
i’d say much more badly than the wars the supremacists waged against
korea, vietnam, palestina ‘22-to today, iraq, cuba, pashtunstan,
lebanon.
and those wars worked butifly for them supremacist.
and the proof is in the pudding: in ‘08, 98% of americans approved each
u.s war ever waged and all other u.s’ doings thus far.
so, one, two, three, .. more wars and other [mis]doings might work
butifly for them once again.
in any case, they cannot lose—they actually wld become even richer
because of the next one or more wars and each misdoing.
i, ergo, conclude a war is coming. probably a soft one—like the ones
Report thisagainst pashtuns and pal’ns. who’s next then? syria, lebanon, yemen,
iran [not if it has wmd, of course—world supremacists are not that
stupid].
i thank my goddevil for telling me this. IT says war is on! tnx

Here we go again: unable to persuade Pres. Obama to keep ten thousand troops in Iraq, the neocons are now beating the drums of war with Iran. The question is whether Pres. Obama will allow this nation to be dragged into another war after our “ally” Israel attacks Iran.

Is it that time of the week again were Israel threatens Iran. These threats are a joke given Israel is guilty of everything they accuse Iran of.
If a country ever needed atomic weapons to deter an outside threat it would be Iran.
I hope they prevail over the zionist pricks who now threaten the world.
