Here’s Jason Russell in a “Today” show interview from earlier this month.

The last couple of weeks have been eventful for the folks behind the Invisible Children charity, what with the near-instant worldwide fame that came from their “Kony 2012” viral video campaign and the ensuing backlash. Now a strange new development has occurred: One of the group’s co-founders was arrested Thursday in an alleged public display of drunkenness and engagement in some autoerotic activity.  —KA

NBC San Diego:

Jason Russell, 33,  was allegedly found masturbating in public, vandalizing cars and possibly under the influence of something, according to Lt. Andra Brown. He was detained at the intersection of Ingraham Street and Riviera Road.

Brown said Russell was acting very strange.

Police said they received several calls yesterday at 11:30 a.m. of a man in various stages of undress, running through traffic and screaming. Police described him as “in his underwear.”

maani,

I hadn’t heard about the ears before, no pun
intended. smile

WRH has a good analysis of several anomalies
regarding the May, 2011 raid here:

So what’s become of Invisible Children’s Jason
Russell? Have his handlers got him locked away for
now?

Imax:

There is irrefutable evidence that the man allegedly killed in the alleged SEAL raid on the alleged compound in Pakistan was NOT Osama bin Laden.

As I have noted elsewhere, most of us know that fingerprints are unique to the individual.  What most people are NOT aware of is that the only other body part as unique as fingerprints are ears: no two sets are exactly the same; there are both major and minor shape differences.

Two separate analyses were done with respect to the left ear of the man in the photo allegedly of OBL at the compound, and earlier photos of OBL.  In both cases, the ears did not match.  (In fact, neither did the noses…)

As an aside, though most do not remember, when the CIA released the video of the alleged OBL at the alleged compound, the audio had been removed.  Why?  Is it possible that it would have been obvious that the voice did not match that of the OBL?  The question is highly relevant.

Thus, no matter whether OBL died in 2001/2002 of kidney failure or Marfan’s disease, or was assassinated in 2002 or 2003 (as reported by, among others, Benazir Bhutto), there is no question whatsoever that the man allegedly killed in the alleged raid was NOT Osama bin Laden.

Peace.

Hi Imax,

Re: D.R. Griffin and “Osama Bin Laden: Dead or
Alive?”

You are correct, the book leaves the question
hanging. It was subsequent to the publication of the
book that Griffin went on the record in recent
interviews to say that he’s now quite convinced that
Bin Laden died in late 2001.

http://davidraygriffin.com/

The Press Release of May 6, 2011 and the radio
interview of May 8, 2011 cover this topic in some
detail.

[Aside: I recall that David Griffin was interviewed
by Bonnie Faulkner in July, 2009 shortly after the
Bin Laden book was published. In the interview
Griffin was far less diffident about the matter of
Bin Laden’s death in 2001 than he had been in the
book. Unfortunately for this researcher, there is a
frustrating gap in the archives of KPFA’s Guns +
Butter program for this period:

If reports are to be believed Osama bin Laden wrote that killing President Obama would ensure Vice President Joe Biden would come to power, someone bin Laden said was “totally unprepared” for the post.

May God bless miniature golf courses.

Ray Duray,

Did you intend to write that David Griffin’s book conclusively proves UBL died in 2001?  I’m curious how you’ve come to that conclusion.  I believe Mr. Griffin doesn’t go that far himself.

Do you have anything conclusive on this?

Maani,

It seems to me you too could ease-up and practice a bit of humor.  I look on Moonbat with sense of delight now.  He/She is entertaining as all get-out. wink

Not that it matters on these threads but, I don’t believe for a second his claim of gender.  I am a woman with a career working in human profiles.  Moon’s ego, manners in directional thought, along with his particular set of concerns (priorities), is purely male.  I could go on but it’s not important.  I’ll simply ask that you trust, not only me, but your first impression and instincts. - Regardless of his many fictive stories, Moon is a 19-25 white male who resides squarely in “middle America”.  He desperately wants to be understood as person of stature, accomplishment, better than average means, and one who possess an intellect which, he feels, is tragically not fully appreciated by others.

I’ll leave it to you to determine why Moon presents himself as singularly unique. I only began making fun of him after his atrocious mannerisms were recently directed my way. - Smile - I know it’s wrong.  It’s a selfish bit of entertainment on my part.  It’ll pass soon enough.

Moon:

My most sincere apologies!  I’m surprised you didn’t accuse me of outright sexism!  LOL.  I would have been guilty as charged.  And I will be more careful in the future not to persume gender!

Ray:

Thanks for your post.  Yes, it is sad, but many, many people prefer to believe the (continued) brainwashing by their (historically dishonest) government and the (hopelessly complicit) media re all things 9/11.

Peace.

I’ll take note of your guesses and whimsical explanations, however, Moonbat is still my unequivocal hero.  Her intelligence surpasses every individual here by leaps and bounds.  I particularly appreciate her unapologetic hatred of all white people.

Hi Maani,

I counldn’t agree with you more about OBL. David Ray
Griffin wrote a profoundly researched book in 2009,
“Osama Bin Laden: Dead Or Alive?” {
http://tinyurl.com/6t7kafr ] and provided
overwhelmingly conclusive evidence that Bin Laden
died in late 2001.

It seems most Americans prefer to live with their
fairy tales rather than to face the truth.

As to the dramatic events of last Thursday morning
and the bizarre behavior of Jason Russell, I do know
that certain drugs are capable of inducing such
psychotic outbursts. It is inconceivable to me that
Russell simply went “batshit crazy” because of
“strees, malnutrition and dehydration”. Naked
ravings are not symptoms of these problems. Nor, I
would suggest, would a man who had just pocketed
about $5 million in 48 hours be likely to want to do
anything to voluntarily stop that gravy train. The
preponderance of behavioral evidence I’m aware of
would indicate that Mr. Russell was the victim of a
drug assault.

While not common, I will point readers in the
direction of bizarre death of Alexander Litvinenko
as a case in point of a man who has suffered at the
hands of surreptitious attackers.

IMax:

First, you might want to grow a sense of humor: I doubt moonraven was being serious re his comment about an “agent prankster,” even if he didn’t include an “LOL” at the end.  And if he WAS serious, so what?  We all know that our government has engaged in any number of nefarious covert acts, and is capable of just about anything.

Re OBL, there is abundant evidence that he died not very long after 9/11; as early as late that year, but in no case later than 2003.  That you choose to ignore all of the evidence in that regard - much of which has been offered on these boards by myself, moon, and many others on more than one occasion - is your prerogative.  But that doesn’t mean that your myopia and willful ignorance trump moon’s facts.

Peace.

Looks like some agent prankster” - Moonbat

You’re so right, Moonrage.  I am in complete awe of your extraordinary intellect.  The way in which you can look at a situation such as this, with nary a smidgeon of evidence or corroboration, and understand so well what’s behind every current event on the planet.  I’m nearly speechless.

Not long ago I thought you just another moon-raving, masturbating in the shallow end, conspiracy whack-job.  But then you convinced me that Bin Laden was not killed last year but, rather, died several years ago on one of the many miniature-golf courses at Disney World.

You, Moonbat, are my hero.  Long live!

I am impressed with the San Diego police officers and their wise and compassionate way of handling the situation. Nice to see some community policing (as compared to the militarised policing we have been subjected to lately.)

I feel very sorry for him.  It isn’t really that odd that he would “snap” (though this seems excessive) in the wake of his video getting over 100 million hits in just a couple of weeks, and causing a huge backlash as well.  Maybe he forgot to take his meds?
