Hotel Calls Bush ‘Poisoning’ a Stunt

White House / Krisanna Johnson

Laura Bush’s new memoir reportedly features a scene at a German hotel fit for a Poirot mystery: The president and his entourage suddenly taken ill as the Secret Service frantically searches for poison. The hotel in question says Mrs. Bush is probably just trying to sell books.

The incident took place during a 2007 G8 summit in Germany, and while it’s tempting to think this might at last provide an explanation for President George W. Bush’s bizarre turn as a masseur, that uncomfortable incident (video below) took place at the previous year’s meeting in Russia.

More on the poisoning allegation here.

News.com.au:

“We see absolutely no evidence to support (these allegations) at all,” said Christian Ploeger, a spokesman for the Fundus Group that owns the Grand Hotel Heiligendamm in northern Germany where the Bushes stayed for a G8 summit.

“The food was checked by security staff,” Ploeger said.

“I suspect that this may be just to try and sell more copies of the book.”

Probably was a stunt for attention, if real, Bush would be dead.

Well thanks Laura for all the gratitude the Germans have shown you and your husband when you visited our country. I remember Bush being interviewed by a German news reader from RTL: Fox News could not have been more ingratiating or groveling and sympathetic and in short done a better ass kissing job – and this is your Danka? Oh Laura you disappoint me. Wait a minute; could it have been that alcohol free beer he had? Okay, he got most of it on the table, but I’m trying to find something here. Or could the food in Germany be too rich for your delicate fast food junkie’s digestive system? Well whatever it was it seems to have been cured by a good half hour in the bathroom. As long as you open the window first, that’s the main thing.

First of all most people know that when you travel many of these travelers can look forward to “stomach distress” due to something as simple as the drinking water. The news story I heard said they had basically stomach aches. So what.

Even when I camp I take my drinking water from home to avoid this type of problem. Seems to me that the ole cocaine cowboy’s wife should know this as well. After all the access she had had to books being a librarian,  “dontcha “.

Ah, I don’t think so. Laura Bush is now trying to sound aggrieved and put upon to garner sympathy for The Regime’s Dictator and her poor widdle self. To sell books…  Sorry Laura, my reading capacity is college level, so I’m pretty sure the pictures in your book will be distracting.

I think a couple people decided in their own way to “throw a shoe” at the entire “Bush entourage” by taking great big dumps and not washing their hands after wiping their asses. THAT does not show up on “food scans”. Hell I know if I had had the chance, I would have done it as well.
