Hillary Clinton HospitalizedPosted on Dec 30, 2012
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was admitted to New York-Presbyterian Hospital on Sunday after doctors discovered she had a blood clot related to a concussion she sustained this month. According to spokesman Philippe Reines, the clot was found during a follow-up exam. “She is being treated with anti-coagulants and is at New York-Presbyterian Hospital so that they can monitor the medication over the next 48 hours,” Reines said in a statement. Clinton was originally expected to return to work this week.
