Glenn Beck Wants to ‘Restore Courage’ in IsraelPosted on May 17, 2011
A day after Israel clashed with protesters along four borders, professional fearmonger Glenn Beck announced his attempt to bring thousands of supporters to his “Rally to Restore Courage” in Jerusalem this August, urging his conservative base to get more involved in the region’s politics. Beck, who hosted a “Rally to Restore Honor” in Washington last year and was subsequently parodied by comedians Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, has been dumped by Fox News and now is apparently taking his political/religious revival meeting on the road, first stop the Holy Land. —KDG

Not that I am any kind of fan of Beck, he did say some comments which upset the Jewish machine, TM, and got him sent away from FOX.

He must kiss the ring and get a signed ‘get out of Jewish media hell’ card from BiBi before he can return to the open Jewish media monopoly in America.

So if this clown goes to Israel and cries, that solves everything? Or is he just going to call them nazis, but in colourful terms?

After Beck completes his inspirational program to restore those wimpy fearful IDF Israelis back into warrior mode, he’s off to Las Vegas, Nevada. Where he’s scheduled to do a chalk talk for the Clark County Sheriff’s Vice squad to show them how he’s going to implement his next program, ‘Restoring virginity to the ladies of the Las Vegas Strip’.
Several of the M.D.s from the Smile Program, the fellows who restore Hare Lips, have volunteered to assist Beck, who plans to have the restorative procedures performed in the UNLV basketball stadium, at center court, with audience tickets sold by advance reservations only.
In addition to the physical restoration, Beck is personally going to offer psychological counseling to the ladies after their procedures, advising them that, among other things, ‘If you keep screwing around, as you have in the past, you’ll have to come back and see me again. This is not a permanent restoration, I want to make sure you understand that’.
If the Las Vegas gig turns into a daily event, it should add nicely to Beck’s yearly gross.

Like many a fading star that has served his usefulness, he is trying to grab the Israeli ring hoping that J-Street will save him.

“The Palestinians’ transition from terrorism and suicide bombings to deliberately unarmed mass demonstrations is a transition that will present us with difficult challenges,” said Defense Minister Ehud Barak.

So far as Israel and courage go, I too wish the Israeli government had enough courage to “join the human race” and stop insisting on its unique-ness and its (brutal) persecutions in which it continuously participates both as victim and as perpetrator. I wish it had enough courage to open its perceptions of a wider world and a more humane and reasonable future for all humanity. As of now, Israel (like many other countries in the world) is ruled by fear and hatred. Its peacemakers (and there are some) are denied legitimacy and access, and are barely able to hold onto any rational space in politics. Result: Creeping “Samsonism.”

This seems to be an admission by the authoritarian right that the tide of international public opinion has turned against Israel.

Ol’ Beck is working hard to assure his future in US MSM, by becoming an avid toches-leker.
