If you saw the broadcast of Tuesday’s State of the Union address, you might have caught Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner looking a little uneasy on his perch next to a solemn Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, which could have something to do with the state of his position at the White House. According to Geithner himself, his prospects are looking dim to be re-upped for another term at the Treasury.  —KA

Bloomberg:

“He’s not going to ask me to stay on, I’m pretty confident,” Geithner said in an interview with Bloomberg Television today. “I’m confident he’ll be president. But I’m also confident he’s going to have the privilege of having another secretary of the Treasury.” He said he would do “something else.”

Geithner, 50, said he wasn’t concerned about Wall Street complaints over the Dodd-Frank financial overhaul.

Geithner was one who should have never been allowed in this position. Suggestions Folks? I go for Dean Baker or Joseph Stiglitz.

Recently Obamafraud replaced JPMorgan with Citigroup as his Chief of Staff, I guess he now has to replace Goldman-Sachs with who, BoA, UBS?  Now that Timmy is off to collect his undoubtedly huge reward from Wall Street for all his hard work on their behalf, expect nothing different from Obamafraud and next.

You may be right, but then again, you may be totally WRONG;  I don’t think you
know any more than any other…I shall sit back and watch, but I will also hold their
feet to the fire.  It may be a vain attempt;  Hell, they may even throw me into one
of their prisons, but I sure as hell will keep DEMANDING some semblance of
JUSTICE.

BlogDog,

I’ll tell you first that I totally understand you, as that is precisely what I’ve been
saying about Obama since around the time he extended the Bush Tax Cuts for
the piggishly and obscenely wealthy bottom-feeders in our society.

But I will also say that I think he might be AWARE that we ARE, right now, at the
very BRINK of a CIVIL UPRISING.  Many of the people are totally and hopelessly
brainwashed;  They ALL have bought OUTRIGHT LIES AND CONFABULATIONS;
Further, they know NOTHING about ANY TOPIC!!  The likes of these people are
DANGEROUS…AND THEY ALL HAVE GUNS!!!!

Personally, I want to see Obama RUN THEM ALL OVER,  ENTIRELY AND WITHOUT
FANFARE.

Oh dear me, Ms Marlowe;

Oh do make yourself just a touch better
informed…the Brown Savior’s major campaign
contributors were and are the Blankfeins of the
world. He has Goldman Sachs on speed dial.

Note his purposeful and singular declaration of
allegiance to Israel (pop. @ 7 million, @.002% of the global whole).

He is no more sincere as of last night’s speech than he was during the summer/fall of 2008.

I’m so sorry…I voted for the bastard too. But your hopes are of no concern.

He hopes - with justifiable confidence - that he will retire into a world of obscene wealth and privilege, and that his daughters will trod paths strewn with perks and gratuities. You’ll have to admit he’s done well, this haupa-hauli son of the plains.

So we are enduring the eighth Reagan administration, and for the Ninety-nine (you and me) it just keeps getting worse.

Don’t believe this sad little tintype Harvard dweeb. Hope for nothing.

Again, so sorry. But without remorse there is no
redemption.

Little Timmy Geitner ought to be worrying about his legal status - there’s only
about 100 million citizens who’d love nothing better than to see him investigated,
indicted, prosecuted and executed to the full measure of the law

next up, the war criminals: Obomber, Sharkozey, Cameruin, Fog Rusemachen

Personally, I did not listen to the state of the union, because I do not believe a word of what Obama says, nor any corporate purchased puppet President. I prefer to watch and observe what they do - action speaks louder than words. It’s how we’ve deepened this crisis we’re in by continuously listening to and voting for these liars, hoping that they will live up to promises and words that are usually written for them by someone, on paper, as opposed to those convictions stemming from their souls and written on their hearts, expressed in their deeds. Situations in this country will not change, people, until we change. Conditions will not get better until we the people get better. We can’t continue to be naive and expect for these charlatans to change their colors, when WE keep painting them on with our cooperation and consent in playing a game rigged for the one percent to win regardless of how much we lose. WAKE UP! Obama promised heaven before and in order to get into office, only to end up breaking just about every one of those promises and in turn giving us only hell - no better than George W. Bush. In fact, worse. He waits until just about a year before elections to address a problem that existed long before and during his tenure in office? Think about it. Why now? Why not minutes after he was sworn into office? They’re still playing the mind-game with us, folks, and we’re still offering ourselves to the alter of false hope by believing in their forked-tongued words of deceit. We shall see.

I am feeling slightly more optimistic than usual today.  This is the letter I just
sent to the President:

Dear Mr. President,

Thank you for the speech last night;  I was glad that you were brave enough to
mention your demands of a vigorous and thorough investigation of the mass
and Intentional Fraud perpetrated by the Banks, by the Federal Reserve, and by
those “Financiers” on Wall Street.  These highly-orchestrated financial CRIMES
by those criminals who conducted them, are indeed very serious and are
directly responsible for this ENTIRE Economic Fiasco.

I want to urge you, with the most emphatic fortitude possible, to thoroughly
investigate ALL involved, to a man, in this totally and willfully collaborated
gigantic Scheme to Defraud the citizens of this, our country.

But don’t stop there!!  Each one of the Criminals must then be Indicted,
Prosecuted to the fullest extent of THE NEW LAWS, (all of which will be made
retroactive);  And then, let me be perfectly clear, each Criminal that is found
Guilty in the courts of law by a jury of his/her so-called peers, shall be held
fully accountable for their CRIMES, and penalties will surely entail terms of
imprisonment, along with the lawful SEIZURE of ALL ill-gotten gains.

We all know, for example, that Jamie Dimon, Lloyd Blankfein, Richard Fuld, et al
should be on the TOP of your list for these vigorous investigations.  We MUST
HOLD these serial offenders accountable.  ALL those who were and still are
engaged in these Enormous Crimes of Fraud, Scheme to DeFraud, Elder Abuse,
and countless other very serious Felonies.

Thank you.  We will ALL hold your feet to the fire on this issue specifically.
PLEASE do NOT let us down!!!

Sincerely,

Christina Marlowe
