Besieged Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi on Thursday issued another rant, blaming the uprising against his rule on the meddling of al-Qaida and the consumption of hallucinogenic drugs. Libya’s just-resigned justice minister, meanwhile, told al-Jazeera that Gadhafi would not hesitate to use chemical and biological weapons against his own people.

al-Jazeera:

Mustafa Abdel Galil, who resigned three days ago from his post as the country’s justice minister, spoke to Al Jazeera at a meeting of tribal leaders and representatives of eastern Libya in the city of Al Baida.

He warned that Gaddafi has biological and chemical weapons, and will not hesitate to use them.

“We call on the international community and the UN to prevent Gaddafi from going on with his plans in Tripoli,” he said.

Gaddafi, with his goofball sons is like Sadam, only not nearly as dangerous to the rest of the world. We can sit back and watch him die at the hands of his own people, then cross our fingers that what’s left of the military and government can find a sane, secular leader to put the country back together.

Interesting that, in the course of one of his recent rambles, the Colonel cited Waco and Falluja in his attempt to justify shooting his own citizens.

If he has such weapons, what is he waiting for? Haven’t we heard this type of claim before from some wacko ex-US President about another psychopathic dictator? WMDs??? Harrumph!

Before all you progs jump on the Galil bandwagon, remember that we’ve already made this mistake once.

Long live Gaddafi, sworn enemy of the US! Let’s hope he uses the weapons to completely destroy the Libyan oil industry and help bring the US economy to its knees! 15% unemployment! Yeah!
