Former President Jean-Bertrand Aristide is greeted by supporters at the airport in Port-au-Prince on Friday.

Arriving on a charter jet from South Africa, former Haitian President Jean-Bertrand Aristide has returned to Port-au-Prince after seven years in exile.

Aristide was removed from power in 2004 in a coup that he claims was orchestrated by the U.S. —JCL

Los Angeles Times:

In the face of international pressure to keep him out, former Haitian President Jean-Bertrand Aristide returned home Friday after seven years in exile, tossing a combustible new ingredient into the presidential election that is scheduled to take place Sunday.

Aristide arrived on a charter flight from South Africa, where he has lived for most of the time since he was flown out of Haiti on a U.S.-supplied plane amid turmoil in 2004.

He was greeted at a VIP arrival area at the airport in Port-au-Prince, Haiti’s capital, by some supporters and 100 or so airport workers, some waving little Haitian flags.

Bravo and welcome back Titide!!!

but beware of US and french and other perfidy !

they illegally overthrew you before! Look at Honduras, etc…

Kick out all US, french and european NGO plus all those well knows CIA fronts (red cross, etc…)  They haven’t done didly for your people anyway… except to try to set up a slave labor camp for multinationals.

Pursue these countries for the cash they owe you in all forums and courts and for all their crimes (illegal overthrow and occupation and sham elections).

Ally yourself only with those you know are not imperialists, Brazil, Iran, Chavez, China, Turkey, etc…

Seek their help.  Perhaps open your ports to some Foreign navies (such as Chinese? - though they most likely won’t bite eventhough they should, US is saber rattling in South China Sean ain’t it?) coupled with a mutual protection treaty.

Stand tall and strong…

the empire is mortally wounded and these are its last spasms…  financially, economically, environmentally, politically and strategically.

Just hang tough, you’ll outlast them.

“He claims was orchestrated by the US,” it’s a proven fact at this point that Bush II overthrew Aristide. Everyone should check out the documentary “Aristide And The Endless Revolution”:

“Liberals” should take note that their golden god Obama tried to keep Aristide from returning to Haiti, luckily South Africa and Brazil ignored him.
