Elizabeth Edwards Dies at 61Posted on Dec 7, 2010
On Tuesday, Elizabeth Edwards, who fought a very public battle with her husband John Edwards over his private life even as she fought cancer, died of the disease in North Carolina. The former presidential candidate and his wife separated after the revelation of his affair with campaign videographer Rielle Hunter and remained estranged until her death.

Elizabeth Edwards was a woman and a mother. She was also a lawyer and
Report thissuccessful in her own right. Her life was not only about her philandering
husband - a piece of work. So when you write about the wives of
politicians remember their accomplishments and that they have lives of
their own. That piece was about John Edwards no Elizabeth. Have some
respect, please. Thank you.
