Dropping Temperatures Take Toll in PeruPosted on Aug 1, 2010After hundreds of children died in weather that has gripped Peru and plunged temperatures to 50-year lows, the country has declared a state of emergency. The declaration will provide funds intended to lessen additional casualties. —JCL

Well Rico, it is going to be a big collapse from
the climate we know.
Do you believe that it is just going to be change?
Report thisWell, yes it will be a change, a big change after the
collapse.

Your use of the word “collapse” is the giveaway. Only someone who believes there is an “optimum” climatological state for the planet would term any deviation from that state as a “collapse”. You use the term “collapse” repeatedly to describe what is happening to the climate. I can only conclude that you view that as a bad thing. But it can only be a “bad” thing for Man if he is too proud and stubborn to go with the flow, like every other species on the planet must do, or perish.

That was a pretty disquisition on tectonics. TOTALLY irrelevant to climate change (except that the occasional monster volcano causes temporary global cooling). Pretty, but irrelevant.
And “Been studying the Climate Collapse since 1982 RICO.” That’s what I mean! You use “Collapse”. Collapse from what, the human ideal? Your arrogant anthropocentrism is astounding.
What if it could be demonstrated that the majority of the species on this planet would benefit from warming, and that biodiversity would actually improve in a warmer world? I know for sure the vast majority of bacteria, insects and plants would LOVE to live in an Amazonian rather than an Antarctic world.
“We will probably not get real readings of the C02ppm

The powers that be already know that at 380ppm, the C02 hit the point of the curve that reaches to infinity, a parabola, which is all a bell curve is.” So “they” have stopped measuring CO2? Where did you get that info?
And now I know you never made it past the sixth grade: First, the curve you are describing is a hyperbola. Second, a parabola is NOT a bell curve: Yes, you can plot them on X-Y axes, and yes they are both symetrical, but they are generated by totally different formulae. A parabola is an open curve whose legs approach, but never become, parallel short of infinity. A bell curve merely depicts a distribution about a mean.

Three points:
1. Glaciers advance by gravity. They retreat by melting or by calving icebergs.
2. “Once the massive evaporation gets started from the heat created from the greenhouse gases, climate deteriorates…” What do you mean “deteriorates”? Does the earth itself have an “optimum” climate, or do you mean from Man’s 72-degrees-and-balmy point of view? Has the Planet been evolving toward this present condition and away from the ice ages on purpose and should it now stop evolving? This is the hubris and arrogance I spoke of earlier regarding the climate debate. Who the hell do we think we are that we can control the Planet’s climate? It’s going to do what it’s going to do and WE are the ones who must adapt, NOT the Planet.
3. Tectonic plates aren’t affected by glaciers. You’ve been channeling Danny Glover too much.

Just this past year, the Peruvian president was
talking about the melting ice on show capped mountains.
Understanding this climate collapse is difficult,
especially with the information that we are being fed.
We will probably not get real readings of the C02ppm
anymore. Right now they have it on hold at about 390ppm.
It is probably somewhere in the vicinity of 420ppm or
better. The powers that be already know that at 380ppm,
the C02 hit the point of the curve that reaches to
infinity, a parabola, which is all a bell curve is.
The earth was put in an ice age two million years ago.
Report thisIt has alternated between glacial and interglacial periods
These cycles seem to come at a regular occurance of about
90,000 years of glacial advancement and 10k to 12k of
glacial retreat. The C02 has played a major role in this.
During this time, the C02ppm has never approached the
levels that are in the atmosphere right now, so predicting
the future is impossible, BY ANYONE….................

By drilling into the ice cores from past glaciations,
it has been determined that there were “greenhouse”
gases prior to these events.
The heat created by the greenhouse gases is figured to
have supplied the tremendous amout of energy that it
takes advance the glaciers.
Once the massive evaporation gets started from the
Report thisheat created from the greenhouse gases, climate deteriorates at a very rapid pace.
This also changes the prssures on the tectonic plates
causing an increase in volcanic and earthquake activity.
While much as been made of the melting of the Arctic
ice, little is mentioned of the documented ice build up
in the Anarctic.
Common sense will give you this
Melting H20 + rising temperature = evaporation
evaporation = clouds
clouds = albedo
take it from there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Peru is pretty much near the equator. I think. So polar cloud cover might be problematic to your argument. And there are a lot of Aztec reliefs that portray human sacrifice. I think. So maybe Cortez’s “secretary” might have gotten his info from them?

” Glaciation is an acceleration of the normal process
Report thisof using evaporated water to carry excessive heat energy
from warm zones to cold zones. The greenhouse effet
of an increase in atmospheric C02 is to increase cloud
cover over polar latitudes. The clouds have a cooling
effect as will as providing the snow for glaciation.
The energy is dissipated in arctic space.
Glaciation occurs whenever the soil minerals left by
the last glacial period are used up and the plant life
can no longer regulate the C02 by growing faster in
response to an increase in C02 in the air. Forests are
the major factor in C02 control.”
