Several studies that found major antipsychotic drugs to be equally or less effective than placebos went unpublished in scientific journals, were difficult to find, and omitted unfavorable data, skewing perception of the drugs’ efficacy, researchers with Oregon Health and Science University reported. —ARK

I work with students who are taking numerous medications to level them in their
Report thisdaily lives. I discuss with them their medication regime while working with them
in creative endeavors. . I explain to them that I never did any drugs so their
accounting of their reactions alights upon a disk of virgin thought. I suspect that
we haven’t a clue about the mind at this point.

Unfortunately, this is probably true about a lot of commonly prescribed drugs.
I recently read an NIH study about statin drugs, demonstrating that the benefits are not nearly as wonderful as advertised (especially for women), and may cause healthy folks, with no history of heart disease, to develop other problems.

If these drugs were no better than a placebo, that would be the end of things, however
they are not
It has been well established by many studies that this drugs work be destroying the
brain. When they are first prescribed, the brain becomes sensative to their effects
increasing dopamine receptors. Because of this those that stay on the drugs will usually
suffer a more serious manifestation of their disease and eventually become not
responsive to treatment. Those that go off the drugs get better. In fact world wide
studies show that being off those medications is the best predictor that they will get
better long term. Those that never go on the drugs have the best results.
The fact that these drugs produce chemical lobotomies has been well known for
decades, as a previous poster indicated, this information has been suppressed, by the
FDA, and by psychiatry.
For example, for many years psychiatry conducted studies on unsuspecting mental

purpose. They used Cocaine, Amphetamines, and Methyphenidate to induce more
severe sypmtoms on people, so they could study the effectgs of anti psychotics on
these patients. They found that methyphenidate, the drug that is prescribed to countless
children suffering form ADHD, was the most effective at inducing psychosis, in patients
without those symptoms.
