Clinton to AIPAC: ‘Status Quo Is Unsustainable’ in Middle EastPosted on Mar 22, 2010
In a speech before members of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee on Monday, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned that the Netanyahu government’s plan to construct new settlements in East Jerusalem “undermines mutual trust” between Israel and the U.S. This strain of admonition apparently hasn’t hit its intended audience with enough force to compel it to change its plans, however. —KA

President Clinton , Wall Street Populist

Asked to comment on President Clinton’s economic program,
Report thisWilliam Kristol, chief of staff of former Vice President
Daniel Quayle, summed it up succinctly: “What is striking
[about Clinton’s economic program] is that there is this
class warfare rhetoric, but what’s creepy is how cynical
it is…He doesn’t believe in this rhetoric. He has a
cabinet full of millionaires.” To be exact, 10 of
Clinton’s 13 named cabinet members could be millionaires-
double the number of Reagon 7 and Bush (6). Most of them
became rich during the Reagan-Bush speculative period
of the 1980s. While Clinton may have a cabinet that better
reflects gender and racial diversity in the U.S. - it is
not at all reflective of the class differences of the economic system.

I wonder where all the “down with socialism” protesters are. The Israeli state keeps building housing for all their lazy people. Isn’t it time for the Utidy States to quit sending Israel money in support of their socialist, dare I say communists regime?

Did the Secretary of State repeat her previous words to the effect that Israel’s intransigence with respect to resolving the Mideast conflict is “Why they hate us” and could cost American lives in Afghanistan and Iraq? And if she didn’t, why not? Fear of crossing the Israeli PM and his AIPAC supporters? Except that’s not what Madam Secretary should be worrying about. What should she be worrying about? What she’s going to say to the families of those Americans whose martyrdom in Afghanistan was caused by Israel’s stranglehold on Gaza. A statement, for example, such as “On behalf of President Obama I want to assure you that, for the good and welfare of us all, this special relationship with Israel is hereby cancelled. In keeping with this new development, I have informed the Israeli government that this deadly siege of Gaza must be called off, and by no later than the day after tommorrow, with the penalty for Israeli noncompliance with this edict - The cutoff of all aid, military, financial, technological. Furthermore, once there is an end to Israeli aggression against its neigbors, the government of the U.S. of A. will call upon Israeli occupier and occupied Palestinian to sit down together for the purpose of working things out on the basis of one equals one with liberty and justice for all. While I realize that news such as this, however welcome, does not lessen the pain you are experiencing right now, perhaps you may derive some comfort from knowing that your loved one did not die in vain. She died that there be no war no more, nowhere, never, not even one.

So now the issue with Mrs. Clinton is about “un-sustainability,” not about truth, justice and wrongs that need to be righted.
Possibly, this Zionist sympathizer means that we would love to keep the status quo, and we would love to continue supporting your wrongs, however, our economic downfall will prevent us from keeping the billions of dollars flowing to Israel indefinitely!
