Climate Change: The Evidence Piles UpPosted on Mar 5, 2010
The evidence that human activities are responsible for global warming is stronger than ever, according to a review of 110 research papers on climate change by the U.K. Met Office, Britain’s national weather service. What might be more important to study is why we are still debating where to point the finger of responsibility. —JCL

Conservation… A personnal example of how a president
can influence change and impressionate
the young.
When I was in the seventh grade, I believe ut was JFKs
Report thisfirst or second year in office. He came into office with
physical fitness as one of his agendas for America.
He was sponsering and challenging Americans to a fifty
mile hike. I grew up about 30 miles from the Atlantic
Ocean.
Anyway, a friend and I decided we were going to make the
fifty mile hike on a Saturday , without telling our
parents of course, for they would have had the wisdom
of not letting us attempt this the way we did.
So off we went, no water, no money, and knew nothing about
foot blisters on a country road with little traffic and
no place to stop. Everything went fine for the first
fifteen miles, then we got thirsty, feet all blistered up
and to far along to turn around, no phone anywher, so
we had to hobble all the way, beat, tired, thirsty, sore.
Anyway, my parents had to drive to the ocean to get us.
But the point is, the impession that our president had
on all the young. Everyone wanted that hike.
We don’t have that type of leadership.
Obama had the potential, sold it away, like his soul

have been doing, it has worked out well for us hasn’t it?
Jobs everywhere, cities flourishing, farms turning out
really wholesome food, water supply couldn’t be better.
don’t even need prisons anymore the economy is so good.
Debt? what debt? Nothing in the red.!!
Diversity? We all get along great!!!!!!
We are loved all over the world… wait a minute, what
Report thisworld? There is nobody else in the world but Americans.
We are the chosen..

Americans don’t care about their children or grandchildren
Report thisnothing but the here and now and me, me, me,
They don’t care that we need to kill a million Iraqi
to keep this up. They don’t care if we turn the oceans
dead (they are on their way out anyway) to keep the now.
Americans are the most selfish, indulgent, spoiled,
self-rightous, culture on this planet.
Yes I can blame Obama for not speaking about conservation
of resources for the last two years.
I remember all it took was JFK to talk about walking
and everyone in America wanted to take that fifty mile
hike that the president spoke of. The president has a
lot of power, especially with the young. This president
is a waste of time just like the last half dozen have been.

The bible is good for some spiritual content but
not at all for prophacy or prophasy.
I don’t believe the world will burn…although, we don’t
know.
I believe the albedo will cool it down and take the
planet into a glaciation. A rise in greenhouse gases
seems to have preceeded the last four glaciations providing the energy needed to do this.
With the current C02ppm well above what it has been
Report thisin the present ice age….it can’t be predicted.
It can be predicted that man cannot bring the C02ppm down
one point. The planet has been in what geologist call
an ice age since the polar ice caps appeared about
two million years ago.. there have been cycles of
inter and intra glacial periods in this time. In sequence
of the time intervals in between the earth was due for a
glaciation period anyhow…Earthlings have survived other
glaciations…that is why it is the best scenario, that
doesn’t mean that there still won’t be widespread starvation, we are seeing that now.

The Bible says total burn up. But it doesn’t say exactly when, so it would behoove the earthlings to do all they can to preserve the earth while they can, instead of going helter/skelter into burn up ahead of time. I think it is possible; if the nations will work together toward an environment to save the planet, there will be many, many more years of life on earth for earthlings.

Start replanting trees, genetically engineer trees that are even better at CO2 sequestering an stop any use of fossil fuels. But even so it would take decades & in the end it may be too late. The last time we had so much CO2 was during the Permian just before the greatest known extinction event after the great freezing 700 million years ago!
We can control the excess carbon dioxide output. Easier than the methane output from the thawing of the permafrost and tundra right now.

Never was much on following threw on most
talked about conspirousy theories.. Don’t care bout
JFK one and have most of Chomsky’s belief about
911, it doesn’t matter, end result the same. The
disagreement that I have with him on 911 is his
assertion that it couldn’t have been pulled off
without a leak…Very nieve of chomsky to believethat
But we are all allowed one conspirousy theory, I hope
I believe a few of the quotes that i have posted here
show that the carbon dioxide problem has been getting
debated for quite awhile, at least as far back as
the early 1970s. Before 1980 , industry got involved
, they were quite worried about the direction that
studies would take in curbing C02 emmisions. They
quickly used their influence to control climate study
models, they make sure non got funded that didn’t
have the global warming , 50 yr time table to address the problem..This upset quite a few that had
been addressing this phenom. All other models got
scrapped and even censored. This part is all true..
To their benifit, they really probably did believe
they had the 50yr timetable. (just being nice and
giving industry the benifit of the doubt that the
don’t even deserve.). Many Alarmist did not believe
in the 50yr time table or even in the final outcome
of a global warming. They were ignored and not given
an ear. So threw the 70s , 80s, and 90s, the
industry climate models were the only ones funded and
studied , cap and trade was mostly the debate for
those three decades. They believed that was the
proper action and would be enough. They sure didn’t
take into consideration that there is hardly any
forest left to regulate C02, or the damage that is
getting done to what is left, drought, disease,
insects, and of course poor soil. The C02 rose much
faster than they projected and Hamaker’s C02
curve has proved correct, it is the one used now.
HERE IS MY CONSPIROUSY THEORY…
That by 2000, everyone realized at 380ppm we were
beyond the point of no return for man to control
the C02. Most of the alarmist thought we were already there by 1990, some thought we never had a
could have a hand in bringing down or keeping it
stable. There is little to no evidence that we ever
could. They had to eventually alert the public.
They had decided go nuclear energy. They also did not
want to panic the populace. Also saw money to be made
Thirty years of their own 50yr warnings had been used
up debating cap and trade. They know that due to
changing conditions that man’s mobility will come
to a standstill within 20 years, that it will mostly
be government and military that have the mobility.
That Gore’s industry backed movie and presentations
was the outing they wanted. That everything our
government does is in preparation for the pending
climate collapse including the Patriot Acts. Including the resouce wars and positioning themselves
to have access two decades from now when man’s
mobility and food become very coveted. That that is
why they don’t care about the public outcry to end.
That they won’t offer universal health care, or
quit ripping SS off….
It all has to do with the pending climate disaster.
Thats my conspirousy theory….....
It is already been pointed out we are no longer
a democracy, it is fairly evident that the military
has more control of our government then it ever has.
“They own the place” has become evident of Board
rooms controlling Capitol Hill.
I offer this conspirousy on this blog that no one

The lassiaze faire corporate classes do not want regulation, most of them, and neither do the hidden oligarchs either. For extreme climate produces extreme gov’ts which is what they want. An agglomeration of church/state/corporation is what they like in a country and the USA is the one they want. A very American type of dictatorship, but with global interests.
They don’t care who suffers, dies from disease, starvation, extremes of heat or could or flooding or drought. It just makes things easier for them to wield control. So that and their bottom line is well padded works for them in their world they want. It may look like the earth in “Avatar” which is only hinted at. data and have my own predictions based on them.
Man lived through at least one other glaciation,
however the C02 fluctuated during inter-glacial
periods at 290ppm plus or minus 10%.
It is not a doomsday prophesy or prophecy.
Apparently , you also believe in some sort of climate
change so you must also have some thoughts of just
where it might go.
here is just a little how i believe
glaciation occurs whenever the soil minerals left by
the last glacial period are used up and the plant
life can no longer regulate the C02 by growing faster
in response to an increase in C02 in the air.
Forests are the major factor in C02 control.
Add mans industrialization, deforestation and
pollution, no it is not a pretty picture, I love
rosy pictures and have never been a doomsdayer, I
have too much fun, but I am not going to deny what
seems to be reality to me. I want to have proper
preparation for our posterity.

Someday I’m going to write a book on “The Influence of Negative Prophesy.” Ever since the remote past, somebody or other has had a “Revelation” and predicted the end of the world. Some specified on such and such a date; others were more unsure and left the date open.
Report thisSome beiieved God was behind it. Others blamed tovernments, kings, diseases, Satan, Fate, Sin, Ignorance, human nature.
Nowadays we can prophesy a bit more accurately due to scientific evidence, but even that has the effect of stymying action. It puts people in a fatalistic thrall where they feel either there’s nothing they can do, or there’s no use to do it.
No matter whether the prophesies come from the left or the right, it’s all Armageddon, and the effect is the same. A condition of negative apathy sets in—and lo and behold—people get hysterical.
Advice from an old crone: Don’t go there!

A U.S. Department of Energy study released in
April, 1979 stated: “It is the sense of the scientific community that carbon dioxide is potentially the most important environmental issue
facing mankind.” (Baltimore Sun, 1/13/80)
In July, 1979, four scientists submitted a report
to the President’s Counsil on Environmental Quality
entitled “The Carbon Dioxide Problem: Implications
for Policy in the Management of Energy and Other
Resources.” The scientists stated conservatively that:
The C02 problem is one of the most important
contemporary enviromental problems, is a direct
product of industrialization, threatens the stability
of climates worldwide and therefore the stability of
all nations, and can be controlled. Steps toward
control are necessary now. The potential disruptions
are sufficiently great to warrant the incorporation
of the C02 problem into all considerations of policy
in the development of energy…..
Report thisAll that was from the 1970s…...
They have known about this problem since the 1960s,

Too bad that the corporate world in general does not
want us to fight this.
Report thisThere is no immediate profit in this, that is why
nobody cares, hybrid cars, these gimmicks is the best
we can do folks. If the Peak Oil theory is right, and I
inclined to believe it is, we just have to wait awhile
and the Earth, which in my view happens to be a self-
correcting organism, will take care of it.

“We hadn’t [until now] looked in detail at how the climate system was changing,” says Dr Stott.
“[Our paper looks at] not just the temperatures but also the reducing Arctic sea ice and it includes changing rainfall patterns and it includes the fact that the atmosphere is getting more humid. “
Too bad that the corporate world in general does not want us to fight this. They want it too happen. Why? Because such harsh conditions produce harsh responses from people. Both in religion and gov’t. So the wold be “masters” of us will put their boot heel on our throats. They will still have their luxury we won’t.
