The pro-business and, more often than not, pro-Republican group is spending $10 million on TV ads this week alone, and it doesn’t have to say who is paying for any of it. The ads, part of a reported $75 million campaign to shake up Congress, represent the biggest one-week spending spree by a non-party group, reports AP.

AP via Google:

The amount is the single largest one-week expenditure by a group outside of the national political parties. It represents an escalation in ads by the chamber, which has expressed a goal of spending $75 million in this year’s midterm elections.

The boost in spending comes as liberal groups raise questions about the chamber’s financial sources. The Center for American Progress Action Fund and MoveOn.org suggest the trade group could be using foreign money to air the ads, which would be illegal. The chamber denies the claim. It says money raised from foreign corporations is segregated from its political spending.

And this is why me and my business will have nothing to do with the Chamber of Commerce. Not all business owners are Republican and put the needs of business above the needs of our citizens and society. I was told I could have my games produced in China for about .50¢ each, where I pay almost $16 a game to produce them here, but I am NOT killing needed American jobs so I can earn more. I like money as much as the next person, but it’s a matter of morals and decency, not greed, which is something the majority of business owners have lost sight of.

hello. this is despicable. the redistribution of so
much slush money into the hands of brainwashing
companies, instead of supporting new jobs: is
despicable. why do they have this much money to waste
on media? why does it cost so much if the candidate
is good? ramping up to billions of dollars on
campaigns, collects billions of dollars from society:
to spend on a handful of people in the media and
legal industries; and that money is better spent
opening jobs for society, instead of electing one
office holder whom promises to do something
impossible. they are collecting your money to give to
a few corporate moguls; whom need more villas,
personal aircraft, bigger yachts, and 2012 shelters.

It is not a chamber of Commerce-it is a Whorehouse of unmitigated, self-serving
