 Naomi Wolf Arrested in New YorkPosted on Oct 18, 2011
Truthdig contributor Madison Shockley reports that the author and political consultant was arrested after leaving a Huffington Post event in lower Manhattan honoring New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Our contributor says Wolf joined protesters rallying in support of a “millionaires tax” the governor opposes. Some witnesses on Twitter have said Wolf was arrested simply for confronting police on the sidewalk in front of the event. We will post more details as we have them. Was it Wolf who claimed that anti-consumerism is misoginy? By now she must have met a lot of (really brave) female hobos if she’s running with Occupy.

The picture shows Naomi Wolf,(not Naomi Klein),who was being arrested by the police. Both are outstanding writers. The former wrote “The End of America”,while the latter wrote “The Schock Doctrine”. Both books hit the best selling status. Both books are worth the money invested in buying them as well as the time spent in reading them.

I woke up this morning to news linked on Drudge that thieves are preying on demonstrators at OWS Zuccotti Park. Wait ‘til TPTB release the most violent of those overflowing prisons of 2 million souls, the biggest in the developed world, on the American people. (Never underestimate the viciousness and brutality of TPTB).
I also watched the 42nd Street Times Square Marine Sargent who didn’t need sound amplification, protecting a crowd that is ‘disarmed’ and not allowed to use ‘sound amplification equipment’ tell off police in military occupation terms: “these are unarmed civilians. What are you doing to them?”
We need the Marines, the Army, the Navy and the national guard to come home from Afghanistan and Iraq to protect the public from the police -small p.
Yes, you can be punched in the face on camera by an agent of the state with a gun and a badge, or TSA without a gun, if you dare give her/him a dirty look -you can be arrested.

After the LONDON occupy The Stock Exchange started at St Pauls cathedral on Saturday,the London police turned up,of course… later a reporter asked the priest from St Pauls cathedral what he thought of all the protesters on the steps of St Pauls…..he said ,he thought that the police should move on.. (not really the same response as the NYPD is it?? )

A little confusion here. Naomi Klein is the author of ‘Shock Doctrine’, not Naomi Wolf…..
Can’t tell from the photo, but a little Google says it was Wolf that was arrested.
