BP Says the Hole Is PluggedPosted on Jul 15, 2010
After nearly three months of dumping between 92 million and 327 million gallons of oil into the Gulf of Mexico, BP announced Thursday that it has stopped the leak. The oil giant will monitor the well’s pressure while the rest of us hold our breath.

I don’t think they lied they just didn’t know, remember it’s a long way down there. And also remember as bad as it is it isn’t the worst oil disaster ever not by a long way.
You want cheap oil, you gotta go for it and this is now risky as all the easier well’s have dried up. I think your lucky they have managed to stem if not stop the oil this early.

I agree with you 100% Redspades, there are plenty more
reasons to believe they are lieing again than there are
reasons to believe them. When they start letting
indepenent organizations down there to inspect what is
going on , maybe they will be more believeable.
I can’t get Markey’s office to respond about what
Report thisI have seen on the “live” videos.
But what I saw June 30th on the Sandi ROV II camera
between 1730 and 1740 makes those “live” videos all that
much more unbelievable to me, let alone what i viewed
May 28th, and 29th.

Hosanna… I pray they’re not lying this time. Has the slaughter of nature stopped? And is it now back to business as usual?

Actually, they did lie about the size of the leak.
So we know that.
On the other hand, if leaking oil is bad PR and oil pumped from ‘relief wells’ is profitable, why would they not be almost as anxious to “get back to their lives”, as you? (Lives of profit making and lobbying against regulation…quick, before some other part of their decrepit infrastructure explodes.)
