In a surprising last-minute move, Tony Blair has dropped out of the race for the European Council’s presidency, a position for which he was an early favorite.

“Blair drops out of the race for the European Councils presidency” No, no, no, you misunderstand, he was in the race until he realized that the Europeans didn’t want his ass – then he dropped out. In the picture now?
Report thisIt could have been the millions he got from the Israelis/Zionists for being such a good Middle Eastern peace mediator.
But he’s also a born again Catholic; he did go to Rome and kiss the Pope’s ring!

RUBBISH
Again.

Is this site faux-progressive??? Is Fox News Fascist? Is the Pope a Catholic? Halfway between the Democrats and the Republicans is still the Property Party and far right wing conservative to the rest of the world. It is only (fake) progressive if you are a US muppet.
Real US muppet for comparison - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BeuekMbXCIw
You would have to be deaf, dumb and blind to have been unaware of the blizzard of criticism at the recent trial balloons—Neocon talking points?—talking up Blair’s imaginary chances in for the post of EU president.
Which thankfully handily rallied the opposition and the shouts of “War Criminal”, and the demand that he be tried as the war criminal that he is forthwith, drowned out the doomed US stooges proposing that their UK trojan horse—Blair—be given control of the EU.
Thank God Britain has signed the international laws that will ensure that Blair gets his day at the Hague and a jail cell. Something that he can look forward to, “maybe not today, but soon and for the rest of his life.” - Gratuitous Casablanca reference - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpoyshqB8-o
The only disappointment is that he won’t face the rope that he so richly deserves. Just like these charming fellows, guilty of exactly the same crimes - crimes against humanity, crimes against the laws of war, the supreme war crime - Aggression—illegal and unprovoked war—, soliciting murder, and torture. - Nuremberg Executions of Nazi Leaders for ‘Crimes Against Humanity’ and ‘Crimes Against the Laws of War’ - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSJcXPCxlzI

Blair Bush and Cheney should be sitting in front of a war crimes tribunal in Iraq held by the Iraqi people

Blair will be called to testify at the Iraq War investigation in the U.K. He’s probably polishing up what he’s going to say. If there were any justice in the world, he would be tried for war crimes and put away forever…along with a few other people.

Would seem the EU does NOT want a war criminal for a president. Why oh why
Report thisisn’t T. Blair slapped in shackles and chains and forthwith sent to the ICC to
answer for the crimes against humanity he committed? In vile collusion with that
Bush vermin. IF there is any justice left in our miserably suffering world, someday
and hopefully soon, Bush and Blair will be held to account for the horrors they
unleashed on innocents in Afghanistan and Iraq. Hell will indeed be a joyous
place on the day that Bush and Blair pass from this mortal existence.

The thought of him being president of anything besides the prisoners’ entertainment committee is laughable.

Blair is currently reading every book he can locate dealing with the contours of Hell where he is undoubtedly bound after ahuffling off his stainless steel mortal coil. He has no time to be EU prez. He and his lawyer wife are trying to come up with a strategy to wrest control of Hell away from Joseph Stalin, current Secretary-General of the place.
