Amazon Evicts WikiLeaksPosted on Dec 1, 2010
In addition to selling books, Amazon does a nice side business hosting websites. WikiLeaks was paying for space on Amazon servers this week until the retailer sent the leakers packing. No comment so far from Amazon, but WikiLeaks, now hosted in Sweden, responded with a dig about “the land of the free.” According to Computer World, WikiLeaks turned to Amazon in order to cope with ongoing denial-of-service attacks meant to shut down the site. —PZS

I sent an email to Amazon from there site (click on “help”, then
Report this“email”) telling them that I would not buy from them and would
organize a boycott until it apologized to wikileaks, and asked
wikileaks to return. My purchases through Amazon was steady but
not a gold mine, but if you people would let them know as you did
here, perhaps,,,,,

The U.S. Government put pressure on Amazon to stop
Report thishosting Wikileaks and Amazon complied. A clear case of
Government censorship. Good thing Amazon is not the
only hosting service.

Ahem…...
I just clicked on the picture of a book advertised on this site that I was thinking of buying, “Unmasking Deep Throat” by John Dean. Guess where that little click sent me…..yup, you’re right…AMAZON.

I cancelled my existing orders and closed my account of many years. Screw those companies that exist only for profit.

I always despised that monopolisitc company anyway. All the mom and pop shops they helped put out of business; they’re the “Wal-Mart” of the internet.
You oppose free speech & free press. Those were supposed to be values. Well the “founders” opposed them too, but what do you want from slave owning racist hypocrites who helped “remove” the “Indians”?
The US said to Iran & China: free up information & communication on the internet. No censorship. Americans hjust think they’re free. The Iranians & Chinese r more understanding of the facts. We’re all their slaves.
Amazon? Go to China like google you supporter of tolitarian values.

Boycott Amazon.com until they see the error of their actions. A withdrawal of money is the only thing they are capable of understanding.
