are they? On Democracy Now! the head of Acorn said they were going to rebrand

Way to go conservatives! Your plan to make America fail in order to make sure Obama fails is bearing some bitter fruit.
In the midst of a deep recession, while the Republicans rail on this administration for not doing enough to create jobs, conservatives have just put a bunch more Americans out of work.

Actually, Adam, he didn’t. The allegations were investigated by local police and in
Report thiseach case there was no illegal activity or misconduct by Acorn staff. The
investigators noted that on review of the unedited video tapes taken by the “con-
pimp”, the circumstances were far more benign than the edited tapes would
imply. Looks like you got fooled too.

I cant believe you people defend this organization.
Report thisHow those videos were acquired is meaningless.
Everyone on this site would be going bananas if a
whistle-blower in the Bush Administration were treated
in this fashion. The con-“pimp” found ACORN staff
members from multiple cities engaging in illegal
activity. The con-“pimp” also broke the law through
his work. The con-“pimp” and the staff members both
should be in jail. See that? Its called integrity.
Check it out sometime.

The fact that this, especially this, Democratically Controlled Congress cannot and does not stand up for one of the voices of the people, shows the depths to which they have sold out to the power elite.
Report thisTo lose one more voice of the people, one more organization that could rally the people behind a cause that benefited them, (the people) is just another example of the power elites desire to silence the voice of the people in the arena of political and social justice.
Fewer and fewer voices remain for the people’s point of view. How in the hell, can a man like Dennis Kucinich stand for something like this? Easily! For he is just another sellout when it comes down to brass tacks.
It is high time, that the people take back the reins of government that we, gave to the political class.
We are the true government not these sell-outs to the lobbyists and power-brokers. If we do not have a soft revolution and soon, we are doomed to life within a fascist-dictatorship quickly.
We are bereft of voices that can speak for us in the halls of power now, and to lose one more is an abomination of the highest degree.

BradBlog has been great in proving how the NYTimes kept the lie going and still hasn’t issued “a correction” re the faked tape/edited clothing, etc.
A couple of weeks ago, the NYS head of the Working Families Party told of the state by state decision to fold/change by ACORN. I think they are owed reparations for the injustice.

A major bummer that they are going to be shut down
because of a right wing con man who belongs in prison.
Why isn’t our Democrat controlled Congress doing
something about this?
Oh yeah, they’re too busy bending over for the
