“Barack Obama has played the race card, and he played it from the bottom of the deck. It’s divisive, negative, shameful and wrong,” McCain campaign manager Rick Davis said Thursday. He was referring to the Illinois senator’s comment Wednesday that Republicans were trying to scare voters about him because, among other things, “he doesn’t look like all the presidents on the dollar bills and the five-dollar bills.” Meanwhile, some analysts are arguing that the already infamous Britney Spears/Paris Hilton ad was designed to subliminally trigger voter racism.
MSNBC:
Earlier this morning, McCain campaign manager Rick Davis released this one-sentence statement: “Barack Obama has played the race card, and he played it from the bottom of the deck. It’s divisive, negative, shameful and wrong.”
The statement refers to this Obama line yesterday: “So nobody really thinks that Bush or McCain have a real answer for the challenges we face, so what they’re going to try to do is make you scared of me. You know, he’s not patriotic enough. He’s got a funny name. You know, he doesn’t look like all those other Presidents on those dollar bills, you know. He’s risky. That’s essentially the argument they’re making.”
Obama’s remark yesterday seemed innocuous. In fact, it’s similar to what he has said many times before. “I know that I don’t look like the Americans who’ve previously spoken in this great city,” Obama noted in last week’s speech in Berlin.
Perhaps more important, Obama’s remarks wouldn’t have been seen as playing the race card if Davis hadn’t issued this release. After all, the best way to play the race card sometimes is to accuse the other side of playing it.
Could you argue Obama has used the color of his skin as an attempt to garner votes? Yes. Could you also argue that some Republicans have played the race card? Yes. And was it inevitable that race was going to play a role in this campaign? Yes.
But Obama’s remarks yesterday seemed like an obvious observation; Obama was very subtle. Davis, though, decided to use a sledgehammer.

When the Race-ists established their system, the tribal identifications of non-white people were functionally preempted. White Supremacists have told non-white people that we are members of a supposed “race” so that they take the focus off of themselves as the only Race-ists. Under the current refined stage of White Supremacy (Racism), non-white people are even encouraged to take pride in their supposed race or ethnic identity in the same way that inmates are encouraged to take pride in their cell blocks and for the same reasons. This is part of the malicious game in which White Supremacist play their victims/cards—-non-white people—-on the global table.
Non-white people do incorrect and/or unjust things to each other as well as to white people. The former is far more common than the latter. However, when non-white people do things that are unjust toward white people, it is usually an incorrect reaction to Racism (White Supremacy). The White Supremacists have the power to stop it all. These people have GREAT ability and could stop it if they wanted to. Instead, Racists (White Supremacists) allow, encourage and/or facilitate verbal and physical conflict between non-white people and they accept smaller numbers of injuries to themselves of as the cost of doing business—-identical to the injuries that prison guards sustain in operating a prison.
I’m sure all of the non-white people who have been subjugated by other non-white people in history would be happy to know that since the people abusing them weren’t white that they weren’t victims of racism even if they were being victimized simply because they were of a different race. Next can you tell us that there’s no genocide going on in Darfur because the people doing the killing aren’t white?

A non-white person cannot PLAY a race “card.” A non-white person IS a race card.
Race = Race-ism [Racism (The global system of White Supremacy)]
Despite what the very smart and malicious Racists (White Supremacists) have deceitfully manipulated their victims to believe, no non-white person is a MEMBER of any functional Race. A non-white person is a VICTIM of the ONLY functional race in existence; the collective of those white persons who established, maintain, expand and refine the global SYSTEM of White Supremacy (Racism).
A non-white person cannot PLAY a race “card.” A non-white person IS a race card who, AT ALL TIMES, is being played by the white persons who practice Racism (White Supremacy).
MCain has sold his soul for the chance to be Pres.
How can anyone take hin seriously when he has Phil Gramm,Lindsay Graham and LIEberman standing behind him pulling his strings!
How can we be expected to believe Mac when he has blatantly changed his positions to benefit the Corps?
How can we take him at his word When is ‘Own’ campaign says He doesn’t speak for them…Who do They work for?
I would love to see the Out of control Temper which many have purported he possess- He should aim it at those who are Using him to Retain power, and make him their Frontman- just like Nixon, Ronny,HW,and W !!
If Mac was not the controlled Puppet, Like in ‘00, he may actually convince people he still does ‘put Country before Self’ he may actually have earned the numbers the Co Conspirators in the Media and ‘pollster’ world claim he has at this time.
Statistics is the first tool in Propaganda- So the Pollsters and pundits can stop trying to tell US Mac is even close. I have met far too many Independents and Republicans who know mac has sold his Soul, or has suffered some mental disease (stroke/ Alzheimers) which has rendered him incompetent to cast their vote for him.
This attempt to decieve the American public about Mac’s numbers are only a way to validate the election when they steal it again!
Come on Mac- prove Your Patriotism- Pull the Curtain back on those who are using YOU as Camoflague!

The McCain ad is subliminal advertising 101, is covert enough in its racism to allow all the media pundits and GOP to claim that the very one targeted with said race card is the culprit, should they be called to task about what they did and meant. BTW, exactly what “experience” does McCain actually have that makes him a better candidate or love this country any more than Obama? Yes he was in the military and a Vietnam POW, but so was my Uncle and I would trust his decision making ten times over McCain. But we can’t see how the military really felt about McCain because those records have been withheld. Doesn’t anyone else want to know? I just don’t see what McCain truly brings to the table Character is an important issue with me about McCain. He has very little, especially when it comes to women: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/e-joyce-moore/mccain-supportive-of-wome_b_113503.html
The covert strategy of labeling intelligence, self confidence, and leadership ability in a person of color and any given portion of African descent as “arrogance” “‘presumptious” and “not knowing his place”—and if you are a woman assertive equals “too agressive”—has been around forever in the USA. Ask anyone who is in corporate management and is African American.

It is very easy for the McCain campaign to come up with ads attempting to bring the future president down. It won’t work because President Bush did the same in 2004 and it got him reelected and guess what we have BIG PROBLEMS….We need an intelligent person in the White House. The American people are smarter than this and to publish some of the ads (Spears/Paris ad) tells Americans that they are idiotic. As an American, I want to be challenge….What does Senator McCain stand for….spend the ad money on that unless he doesn’t stand for anything…..We need intelligence in the White House. Senator McCain is not that person. (Look at his academic record)
Now the Real Issue….McCain’s voting record 95% with the Bush Administration policies that have caused higher and higher oil/gas prices…more foreclosures…more lost jobs…more individual and corporate bankruptcies….economic uncertainty-probable recession….more debt….etc. etc. etc.
You be the judge my fellow Americans….look at the voting record of Senator McCain and there’s your answer. Maverick—-I don’t see it…He voted for this…...

Well, McCain is playing the race card just as strong. his race. Everything he is doing and selling is targeted to rich white Republicans. He knows all about playing the race card. But, what’s that quote, Accuse me not of racism if you are the one who first calls my race into question.
McBush ought to just keep his mouth shut I think. He’s revealing more and more about himself every time he speaks.

How in the world can McCain challenge Obama to ten town hall meeting when his only topics are based on Obama and his star status. What can he talk about that is o substance? He has demonstrated just how intelligent he is and now he still wishes to make an ass out of himself. He and his hoods have a hard time of staying with the issues for trying to run dirty and low level ads. Obama is above that and thus the reason why he won`t dignify that request with a firm yes answer. McCain needs to educated himself more before he can challenge Obama to any type of debate. First thing he should do is fimilarize himself the difference from Sunnis and the Shites. Obama has more class than that to try and debate a dummy and be known as someone who picks on the handicap. The white house is not a rest home for the elderly and is not a nursing home for the prisoner of war with PTSD.
