McCain Coughs Up Another Joke About Killing Iranians

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee gets what might have been a terrorist fist jab from wife Cindy over an ill-considered crack on rising U.S. cigarette sales to Iran: “Maybe that’s a way of killing them.” Ha ha, funnyman. Lucky for him, the media is in a forgiving mood these days when it comes to the ex-jet jockey, as Max Bergmann points out.

Huffington Post:
This guy is running for President not to become a talk radio pundit. Yet according to the AP this was just a humanizing moment between candidate and spouse—I am not sure when joking about the deaths of civilians became humanizing.

The joke is not the problem, the instantaneous reply to the reporter is.It shows darkness in him. Having fun about killing enemy’s civilians! Using any means to kill! Being arrogant. Trying desperately to be accepted by war advocates. What an idiot…

Very funny that “joke” about letting Iranians smoke themselves to death. McShame sure has a sense of humor - in fact, his whole polical plan is a joke.
Doesn’t he even realize that he can put his jokes on the series of tubes called the internet?

Does John (yes I am a genuine war hero) know anything yet about touch tone phones?

“Any one of these incidents and comments would dominate the news cycle if they came from the Obama campaign. Yet McCain barely gets a mention. The press like to see themselves as political referees - neutral observers that call them like they see em’.”

~~~
Which is exactly why they avoid calling out McCain. Mainstreammedia is owned and controlled by corporate America, and in spite of the fact that even the dumbest of the dumb repubs know we’re in deep doo-doo, corporate America still thinks they can save themselves by blowing more bubbles.
Best bubble blower in the nation ... John McCain. Lots a hot air, but nothing above the wind tunnel.
Ooops! I mean second best.
~~~

“This Sunday expect the ten incidents above to get short shrift from pundit after pundit, because after all Jesse Jackson said he wanted to cut Obama’s nuts off.”

~~~
Of course mainstreammedia being conservative will take great offense to this. Poor things. They just don’t understand, since repubs always allude to momma or the wife when they deliver expletives to the male gender. But then conservatives don’t understand humor anyway. They laugh at horror and get bent out of shape by reality.
The only negative to be said about the “nut” incident is that Jackson went on FOX news. For shame!
Feeding the fishes, blub, blub, blub.
If there is any doubt that McCain has no interest in veterans, it should have been put to rest with the Youtube clip in item 9 of the Bergman piece.
Every registered voter should be required to watch it.
