GOP Scores a Win in Virginia Governor’s RacePosted on Nov 3, 2009
A year ago, Virginia surprised the nation by skewing blue in the presidential election, handing Barack Obama a key win below the Mason-Dixon Line. However, this trend didn’t extend into the 2009 gubernatorial race in the state, as the majority of Virginians voted in favor of conservative Republican Bob McDonnell on Tuesday. But does McDonnell’s victory spell trouble for Obama down the line? And will Democratic Gov. Jon Corzine prevail in New Jersey? It wasn’t looking good for Corzine on Tuesday evening. —KA

Couldn’t be better than this. This will drive the conservatives wild and they will set out to overturn more and more Republican moderates in hopes of re-invigorating the party around “Reagan” values of extremism.
Report thisThis will further shrink the Republican Party and I could not be happier. Soon, only the 20% lunatic fringe will be left. The Republican “Big Tent” has left town for good and that is very good news for progressives and liberals.

The following video is a day or two old. It is of an MSNBC announcer imitating what Keith Olberman said 11 months ago about politics in Virgina. At the 30 second mark the fun starts:
