This is just more of the same old bullshit from our friends in the FBI and the ‘security’ services.

I just read today that Moslems are trying to get negative views of Islam turned into an International Crime. This week we have Moslems protesting disrespect for the Koran by American Military, saying they had burnt a Koran. Now that is disrepectful of Islam as what? The bombing by Moslems of Moslem Mosques and the killing of innocent women and children, all Moslems by Moslems.
It seems the burning of a book that can be printed by the hundreds of thousands is less remarkable than the mass murder of Moslems by Moslems, not on the battlefield but in their supposed holy places. I think anyone who doesn’t have a bad feeling about Islam is just not paying attention. And, by the way I feel the same way about fundamentalist christians who display the same tendency to cry foul at the lest critic of their beliefs and yet wish to do great harm to people just because they don’t practice proscribed form of religion.
Oh! and lets talk about the disrepect to Buddists by the blowing up of antique and historic Buddist shrines. If this law gets passed does this mean there will be prosecution for this Islamic crime?

You’re quite correct, Sepharad, that we should refrain from jumping to conclusions about unproven allegations.
That said, we all know there are some people on this planet who take themselves and their beliefs very seriously. Notwithstanding that this attitude is usually counterproductive and silly these folk somehow lose any ability to think logically (if they ever had it) and are fully prepared to sacrifice everything in their pursuit of revenge. Since when did revenge ever correct a situation?
It’s always puzzled me that the obvious never seems to dawn on these people that when everyone loses, NO ONE wins.
I, for one, am bored hearing about those who plot to destroy. There are hijackers, suicide bombers and other insane and immature nitwits multiplying like gnats out there. It completely escapes me how killing a bunch of innocent people accomplishes anything good.
There’s not much we can do about those who are prepared to blow themselves up to make some statement. The rest of the more cowardly micreants should be summarily locked up for the rest of their unnatural lives. Civilized society simply doesn’t need them around.

Am curious as to how solid the evidence is. “Allegations” are “allegations” until backed up by facts. If they’re guilty, then throw the book at them. If not, there should be a limit on how much potentially liable comment should be published without more information. As the Danish intelligence people also were providing information, sounds like it could be real. But we don’t know that yet.
