Ireland Votes to Streamline the European UnionPosted on Oct 3, 2009
Sixteen months after rejecting the same treaty, voters in Ireland have emphatically accepted the European Union’s Lisbon Treaty—an agreement that gives more power to the European Parliament and creates the position of the president of the European Council.

By ‘streamlining’ TD means puting the power decisions in the hands of the agents of the EU ruling class, rather than pretending they are in the hands of the population. As Johannes has indicated, the people of the large countries of Europe are AGAINST this new measure, which is promoted by the truth organs of European imperialism.

I am constantly amazed at how quickly everyone writes the United States out of the equation. We may be down, but we are far from out.

It seems that some of the people of the British Isle’s have finally figured out that they have hitched their economic pony to the wrong (US) wagon.
For decades now, the British have been riding our coat tails hoping beyond hope that the day the american empire comes crashing down, they would be right there to inherit their old mantle as world leaders. It seems that the Irish have figured out what their british benefactors refuse to realize, that the only viable competition for the Chinese in the 21st century economic wars will be a strong european alliance, not one with the arthritic and gimping USA.
The Brits will figure out, eventually, that the future of world economic domination lies not in a faded alliance with a crippled USA. For their sake, they had better do it asap.

Its not funny at all, the Dutch and the French people voted against the EU, and their governements
just ignored them, and with a trick just signed.
Now with an enormes amount of pressure and indoctrination the Eiris voted yes, afther an no vote.
Our newly Katholiek converted Tony Blair is waithing in the rangs, to become the first President of the EU.
Slowly they are eating our freedom, with the excuse of terrorists, well its bether to be free and poor, as rich in slavery.

Amazing how the obvious passes TD dogmatics by:
16 months ago the “Irish Miracle” was still going strong. But following the world-wide economic collapse that accelerated rapidly a year ago, the “miracle” ran out of gas and Ireland began to slide back with unemployment rising.
Ain’t it funny how in a rational nation, going from prosperity and “we can do it on our own” to recession leads to “Let’s join with the others to work together”?
Only in the USA do dimwitted red-necks vote with the Re-Thugs to cut their own economic throats shouting, like Chicken Little “The sky is falling, the Socialists are taking over!” They here that, their racist strings are strummed, and they vote in clucks like Chambliss, Imhofe, Kyl, Bachman and Wilson.

ARRGH. They certainly did in the US, so perhaps the Irish won’t feel so bad.

I am very surprised the way Ireland voted, but they are desperate because of the economy.
