Can America Have Too Much Cheney?Posted on Sep 27, 2009
If you liked Dick Cheney, you’ll love Liz. The former vice president’s progeny is becoming a conservative star who regularly hits the airwaves to defend the worldview she shares with her father. She’s launching a Web site called KeepAmericaSafe.com and may even run for office one day. In case you were wondering, no, this isn’t the gay daughter. That’s Mary, who is totally on board except that conservatives don’t like the way God made her. —PS

Larz,
You are wrong—— only the Right-Wing Conservative EXTREMISTS that used waterboarding to torture others and those who supported its use; those who used waterboarding and supported waterboarding for others need to have 1st hand experience of what they are inflicting on others. If as they say waterboarding is not torture, it will just be one more pleasant experience that they should have the privilege of enjoying at least 60 - 70 times per person for a day or two and longer if they really like it.

The most extreme lie she told, they old tortured three people, the sociopathic genes in the father obviously run true in the daughter. Her contempt of honesty and integrity is obvious, he refusal to accept the principles of the democratic rule of law, is apparent, she clearly sides with the precepts of imperial law, of the monarchy where complete power lies with the leader and it is hereditary.

90% of the people here on TruthDig would water board a dozen conservative men or woman for the mere thrill of it. But the real reason you all would do it is simple. There are people out there in the world who don’t think like you do.
What hate mongers most of you are. Your Ex-Pres. Carter was right. Bigotry is alive and well in America.

Keep America the safe???? The irony. The only way to keep America safe is not to elect Republicans - to anything, at any time. Liz Cheney is a lobotomy on legs. If she was a product you’d take her back- the mouth works but the brain…

In the world of really freaky fractured foolish, and most things republican right, seems to me a common thread runs through.
Who leads the party?
Karl Rove, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Dick Cheney, and now his little girl?
When was the last time any of these folks won an election? Well, the last time Dick won anything was in 1987 (I think) VP doesn’t count, that was a coat-tail thing.
And the others? Well far as I know none of them have ever been elected to do anything!
So how come the good and faithful nit-wits who hang on their every word, hang on their every word? Could it be they don’t know that? Naw, they’re not that stupid ... are they?
Oh I have it! Over the years they’ve all been sent here following experiments to replicate humans, by the little people in the sky. And every now and again the mother ship sends down her younglings to see if the experiment has succeeded in destroying the human race yet. And the younglings zoom back and report, nope not yet, but it shouldn’t be long now.

I will withhold my comments regarding Ms. Cheyney for fear of sounding misogynistic.
Well, OK, maybe one.
I don’t know about her sister, Mary, but Liz is definitely Diesel.
Sorry, couldn’t resist.

Those Cheney’s are not normal. There’s a paranoid streak running through the entire lot of them. I wish they’d go away. Besides they scare me and evoke “fear of the other”.
They just aren’t like you and I.
Will someone please remind me why we are taking them seriously? Who voted for them?
What? They’re just political catnip and give topic starved writers something to write about? I thought so.

Why doesn’t anyone ask her or her daddy about WMD, connections to al-qaeda,
Report thiswe will be welcomed as liberators, the whole thing could be over in weeks rather
than months? Deficits don’t matter, no-bid contracts for Halliburton?
Why would anybody listen to a guy (or anyone defending him) that has been
wrong about everything? The terrorist we renditioned to Egypt (al-liby) was
tortured and then said high level Iraqis met with M. Atta in Prague!!! Helped justify
invading Iraq and the disastrous occupation that has followed.
Haven’t the Cheneys done enough damage?

As it is clear that the Dick Cheney in his terms as Vice-President used his position to enrich himself by lying us into a war against the only moslem country that had nothing to do with 9/11 and was instrumental in the scam of no bid contracts, and that is just a few of his violations of law. Yes we need Protection for our country, we need protection from people like Cheney and his evil spawn.

Fine….“waterboarding isn’t torture, and we can go down that path…”
Here’s a suggestion, Liz—put your money AND your mouth where conservative shock-jock Eric “Mancow” Muller puts his—in the hands of a member of U.S. armed forces trained to administer the technique.
As I recall, he lasted about six seconds before deciding that being tied down and drowned was ‘torture’ after all.
Maybe Darth Cheney’s crazy daughter is made or sterner stuff, maybe not…but I would, in any event, dearly love to see *someone* named Cheney get a dose of the medicine they so lavishly prescribe for others.

Cheney and Bush should be prosecuted for war crimes.
The Administration’s failure to do that only gives the next generation license to continue the lies and crimes of their parents.

Certainly the “Cheney” strategy of “tell a lie long enough and people will believe you” is alive and well in Lynn Cheney.
Personally, I think her whole mantra is to qualify this idiocy so that “PaPa” doesn’t know the sting of the hotseat (electric chair).
I think it was Bob Dylan (yep, I’m sure of it) who sang…. “When you ain’t got nothing… you got nothing to lose.”
Gee Lynn, why would you go down that road…. Sadly, denial isn’t just a river in Egypt, is it…?
