Remember the name Mark Foley? It can be difficult to keep all the GOP sex scandals from blending together, especially when trying to remember one so far back as 2006, but Foley’s the ex-congressman from Florida who wound up in big trouble for sending raunchy messages to an underage page. Now, Foley is looking to reinvent himself on AM radio.  —KA

The Los Angeles Times:

Reporting from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. - “Inside the Mind of Mark Foley,” hosted by Florida’s disgraced ex-congressman, is set to begin airing on AM radio in north Palm Beach County next week.

[...] His show will focus on current politics, WSVU-AM (960) station operations director Joe Raineri said.

“We just thought, a former U.S. congressman who knows those guys who are there right now, understands the game of politics—who better to shed some light on it than Mark Foley?” Raineri said. “There’s so much confusion and so many questions surrounding the issues today.”

Foley could not be reached for comment.

I think Mark Foley has already shed enough light on the game of politics. I seriously doubt there is anything worth hearing “inside the mind of Mark Foley”.

I am certain that WSVU AM 960 has figured out there is a HUGE Right-Wing Conservative Republican EXTREMIST queer market out there, and that Mark Foley is just the “right” person to tap that market.  I say that it is a good marketing strategy on the part of WSVU AM 960, because we know and they know where the queer market is, and it takes a REPUBLICAN queer to talk to all of the other REPUBLICAN queers that make up the HUGE market of REPUBLICAN child molesting Right-Wingers.

Talk radio—a time tested way for Republicans to troll for little boys and little girls to satisfy their weird lusts.

Well now child Pedophilia is moving to the (RNC) and GOP sponsorship, is this a endorsement for NAMBLA and a further cause for Republican depravity, do we also wrap yourself in a Flag and raise our bible saying God forgave him. Just another low for the right Vitter with his Diapers, Sessions with his Hate Mongering and the list goes on.

Pat, to be fair, this guy was texting 17 year olds. I think it shows how overly
sensitive and sexually retarded this country is when the man was automatically
labeled a pedophile for something that is legal throughout most of Europe. Don’t
get me wrong, it shows bad judgement, and he is definitely a creep, but it’s an
incorrect usage of the term “pedophile.”

And Freddy, yes, that’s Maher’s at his best when attacking the food and pharm
industries.
