Republicans Ask Reformed Birther to Rebut Obama

Rep. Charles Boustany

Boy, they sure can pick ’em. When Republicans asked Rep. Charles Boustany to give the response to President Obama’s major speech tonight, they either didn’t know or didn’t care that the congressman once questioned the president’s nationality and is so patriotic he may have attempted to purchase a British title.

When asked whether he was suspicious of Obama’s citizenship, Boustany replied, “I think there are questions, we’ll have to see.” He has since retracted that statement.

As far as nobility is concerned, the congressman apparently gave a couple of phony British nobility salesmen $18,500 for a “title.” He says his wife made the mistake and that the word title refers to ownership of certain papers and books.

This is just the guy you want taking on the president of the United States.  —PS

Its becoming somewhat obvious that more and more members of the Republican
Party are disintegraating into a bunch of demagogues and hecklers not to
mention part time dancers.

The Democrats are now the conservative corporate party.  There is no representation for progressives and the Republicans seem to appeal to nostalgic loyalists and looney-tunes.

The Repug Leadership showed once again they are too cowardly to put their own reputations on the line, so they send out some ill equipped moron to give their rebuttal. Might as well as have Jindal doing his ‘lil story’ again.Pathetic.

He could have saved his breath and just called Obama a liar, like the pencil dick, Wilson, from South Carolina! They took his website offline for (cough-choke) maintenance - guess they didn’t want to receive all of the kudos from the far right, white supremacists he caters to…

I am sick of O’Reilly, Hannity, Limbaugh, Beck, Palin and all of the other FUX News shills. In the words of O’Reilly, “THEY OUGHT TO JUST SHUT UP!” AND I have had enough of the birthers and Second Amendment, Nazis - get your own fucking country! You and your ilk have come close to destroying this one!

Thought it was a felony to threaten the President! I guess that was when Bush was the boss!

The dregs of the current Republican Party (southern, racist, fascisio-christians) naturally settle in the lowers portion of that loonie-land… Louisana.

This is the heart of the remnants of the G.O.P.  What better place than there to find a gud ol’ bohy ta tote th’ watar?

I wouldn’t want that guy cutting into my chest!

I wonder how many beer bottles went crashing through TVs in trailer parks down South after hearing this guy.

Why do Republicans insist on lying about every aspect of health care reform? It seems like they are incapable of telling the truth. Here is Senator Barrasso, a medical doctor, blatantly lying about health care premiums.
