Although he’s been trying to hang tough as South Carolina’s governor ever since this summer’s infidelity drama unfolded, Mark Sanford has some new impediments—60 of them, to be exact—that could keep him from serving out his term.  —KA

The New York Times:

Sixty South Carolina House Republicans are asking Gov. Mark Sanford to resign.

A letter asking the GOP governor to leave office was delivered to Sanford shortly after noon Wednesday.

Well, I think that the Governor should step down. I also think that more investigations should be done regarding the “C” street clan which Sanford was a member of, what exactly are their beliefs….my understanding is they believe that they are ABOVE the law, that they were put on this earth as powerful leaders and the same principles that applies to everyone else does not apply to them. I really believe more need to be known about “C” Street
