On Monday, a British court found three men guilty of planning to blow up seven airliners in a synchronized attack using liquid explosives disguised in soft drink bottles, which apparently has something to do with why passengers haven’t been able to bring sodas on board for some time now. —KA

That sounds kind of petulant. Not to mention incorrect. In the US, one simply can not take liquids from outside of security screening. One can always pay the slightly higher price out by the gate area. I’m sorry that “KA” was denied the ability to bring his vitawater from home, and save a few cents, so that the rest of us don’t have to be blown to smithereens over the Atlantic.
