What is the difference between OVERTLY advocating the OVERTHROW of the U. S. Government by violent means?  And, COVERTLY advocating the OVERTHROW of the U. S. Government by SUBVERSIVE means, such as ORGANIZED pedantic parsing, ORGANIZED Culture of Critical Discourse reflexivity to obfuscate, limit and REFRAME REALITY, and ORGANIZED Hitleresque EXTREME sophist propaganda to overthrow the U. S. Government by SUBVERSIVE means?——Both overt means and covert means advocate OVERTHROW of the U. S. Government; the only difference is one means is direct and the other means is indirect.

Are you saying it should be a crime to OVERTLY advocate OVERTHROW of the U. S. Government, but that it should not be a crime to COVERTLY advocate OVERTHROW of the U. S. Government by SUBVERSIVE means?  Yes or No.

When OVERTHROW of the U. S. Government is advocated by ORGANIZED SUBVERSIVE activity as advocated by Adolph Hitler, this type of SUBVERSIVE activity is just as much or more of a danger to the U. S. Government as an OVERT attack on the U. S. Government; this was the claim of the RIGHT-WINGERS against Communism when I was a child, and if it was true that the Communists were an ORGANIZED SUBVERSIVE threat to the U. S. Government, it is just as true that RIGHT-WING CONSERVATIVE EXTREMIST REPUBLICANS who engage in ORGANIZED SUBVERSIVE activity that advocates OVERTHROW of the U. S. Government are just as much a threat to the Government of the United States as the Communists were from the 1940’s to the fall of the Berlin Wall;—- Do you agree or disagree?  Yes or No.

Watch the critics of America yes, because of possible sedition; Stunting freedom of speech, no!  If the overthrow by violence of the government of the United States is advocated, then that breaks the law, Constitutional law, and is prosecutable.  Otherwise to protect your own freedom of speech you cannot truncate the speech of who you despise.

There is no dearth of accusations that Rollins admits to the Republican Party using nazi tactics, none say the Mein Kampf is their handbook however.  The accusations come in the form of blogger invectives no proof offered however.
Check stuff out for yourself!  Do not believe the sophists.  Use your own powers of reflective judgment about what to believe or what to do.

a blogger rabun666wrote the comment abut Rollins impromptu TV interview but does not cite the exact interview or who was the interviewer.  No way to verify the accusation.  Not saying the accusation is true or not true.  But sophism is at work here.  Be on your intellectual guard.

MarthaA, FYI on Nazi SOPHISM and EXTREME PROPAGANDA and their use by the Republican Party admitted by former RNC chairman Ed Rollins. I was watching TV in the mid 90’s when local TV reporter started an impromptu conversation with Rollins. The reporter asked Rollins why the Republicans used NAZI techniques at their meetings and demonstrations to which Rollins answered “if these tactics worked for the Nazi’s they will work for us[the Republican Party]. Why wouldn’t we[the Republican Party]  use them[the same tactics the Nazi’s used]. Now I had been living outside the country for several years and didn’t know Ed Rollins from a turnip. The only reason I even remember his name was because I associated it with Rollins truck rental and was so shocked by what Rollins said as was the then local TV person. I didn’t even remember Rollins 1st name until sometime later when I heard it in conjunction with the Republican Party.

The whole scenario is the same way Hitler undermined the LIBERALS in order to take control of the Weimar Republic in Germany.  Hitler’s FRAMES from Hitler’s book, “Mein Kampf” are being used by the RIGHT-WING CONSERVATIVE EXTREMIST MOVEMENT.

The two “German Lessons” from WW1 and WW2 are firstly that Germany, and by implication Western Europe, could have had the post-WW2 economic miracle without going to war provided that the allies of WW1 had realized their stupid mistake of the so-called Versailles-Peace in or before 1920 and changed course. Lenin et al. were absolutely correct in at least one respect when they advocated “no reparations”. It is interesting to note that Mr. Keynes, then a junior representative of Britain at the Paris Peace Conference, also warned that the reparations would eventually lead to an economic collapse.

Clearly that lesson was learned after WW2 when the “Marshall Aid” was given to bolster Western Germany against the Soviet Union.

Second lesson is that gullible nations are likely to follow dangerous leaders that will lead the nation to unnecessary wars.

Perhaps a third lesson is that nothing has changed on the issues of war and peace.

This is why the Neo Nazi movement in this country should be treated as a hostile and dangerous group.
It astounds me that we allow this show of utter disdain for not only our country, but those who gave their lives to free Europe from this homicidal meglomaniac.
I am a avid ‘Freedom of Speech’ advocate. If someone wants to voice their disagreement with the Gov’t- fine. If they want to expound their racist ideas- fine. But that is the sole realm of each citizen, not entities.
And to try and claim that Socialists are against our form of Gov’t fails to make the comparison because Socialists are not sporting Russian uniforms and Weilding high power weaponry. In fact I’m betting they don’t even have a gun at home. Ya think Bernie Sanders has a AK47 at his front door? Not likely.
Watching them parade down the street should get no different response from Americans than if it were AQ.
And it’s not just the White supremeists of the KKK ilk they have lured in to their treasonous ideology. Look at the ‘religious’ people who have invoked Hilters ‘attributes’. Hagee praising him for driving the Jews back to Isreal? The C Streeters who glorified his political means towards power? FYI there is no redeemable trait to any sociopathic meglomaniac who committes mass murder.And lets be honest these folks are only ‘Friends of Israel’ to fulfill their delusions of Rapture- they are willing to sacrific them like lambs to bring the (self fulfilling) prophecy to fruition. Oh all but 144,000- of course- Ticket fare, I guess. And isn’t that as demoralizing and dehumanizing as Hitler’s view of the Jewish community, a mere means to an end?
This conglomerate of groups poses a national and international security risk- W’s ‘Crusade’, anyone?? “Bomb bomb bomb Iran” - which country do you think their allies would hit first? Israel. Hagee even called for Pre-emptive strikes on Iran to set off Armegeddon!!
This ideological covergence of racists and religious zealots who are ‘Armed and Dangerous’ must be exposed for what they are a Dangerous organization of Traitors and Heretics ,and quickly moving towards being labeled Terrorists.

To put a spin of reality on it, not only are there pop culture combat video games for WWII, but for every and any real war and fantasized war.  It is not so much WWII that fascinates the culture of today, two generations after the fact, but the siren song of war, all war. 

The irony is that Hitler read and venerated Nietzsche.  Except Hitler did not really understand Nietzsche’s meaning of nihilism.  How could he with his self-love?  Hitler was Austrian and yearned to be Aryan German and recreated himself to be one.  Hitler never gave up his Catholicism.  Nietzsche just the opposite was German and detested being German and went with a fictional tale that his family was descended from Polish nobility.  His nihilism was that it was dangerous.  Hitler proved him right.  I do believe if Nietzsche had lived during the early 1940s, he would have detested Hitler more than most and agonized more than anyone as he knew of what the nihilistic mind was capable.

Nietzsche shed his Lutheranism realizing the inherent decline of the will in conventional Christian morality.  For Nietzsche, the Christian moral ideal of selflessness, of the moral promotion of the “poor in spirit” is to be understood on the basis of an interpretation of nature as an entirety, enlisting the Christian invention of “bad conscience.”  Christianity detailed and codified a moral code through consciousness of the will of that bad conscience, whose own elementary nature is to be a movement of repression and opposition towards its own nature, against its original natural will.  The bad conscience commits war against the will, and since it cannot annihilate it without annihilating itself, it devalues and subjugates it.  It relegates inferiority of the will to the laws of consciousness, reversing the natural order of development.  This same pattern Hitler did to the Jews.  At least he was consistent!  Hitler did not understand and so he debased Nietzsche’s philosophy, reinventing it into a justification for his fascist nazism.

The question never asked;- did WWII really end?

Its always interesting to note that its ALWAYS “An estimated 60 million people
died, including 27 million Soviets and 12 million Jews, Gypsies, gays and other
victims of the Nazi holocaust.”

Its also interesting to note that the millions of Asians, Arabs and even certain
Europeans and Africans are never mentioned.

Another contributing factor may be that we have never come to grips with what caused that War and the part that our “democracies” had to play in getting it started.
