Gender Inequality 101Posted on Aug 19, 2009
Conservatives love to claim we live in a post-racial or post-gender world, but researchers in England are reminding us of the persistent examples of inequality that mark our society. Two words: ALUMNI DONATIONS.
Male alumni consistently donate far more money to their alma maters than female
alumni. So admitting more men means more money for the school in the future.
So lady graduates, if you want this to change, you can start by staying away from
shoe departments and sending some money for your old school instead.
