“Political adviser Karl Rove and other high-ranking figures in the Bush White House played a greater role than previously understood in the firing of federal prosecutors almost three years ago, according to newly obtained e-mails that shed light on a scandal that led to mass Justice Department resignations and an ongoing criminal probe,” reports the Washington Post.

As if there’s really any question as to the standards of integrity of the Bush-Cheney administration.  Karl Rove is an honest man.  Barack Obama was born in Kenya.  The moon landing was a fake, and the world is, in fact, flat.

Now, can we please move on?

Yawn.

Giving Turd Blossom WAY too Much Credit!
Turd is nothing more than a smoke screen, stop gap for Cheney Just like Scooter was.
W didn’t certainly come up with the ‘deck Stacking’ of prosecutors.
If Turd was W’s Brain, who do you think Turd’s was?

Despite the Washington Post’s assertion that this is “new light” on Rove’s involvement, it would seem that they merely add a little to the mountain of evidence ... and that he will be heading the same way as Scooter Libby if these are genuine hearings.

i.e. perjury is likely to be less of a problem for him than facing up to his original crimes.  Still, despite my pre-judging, I’d like to see it all come up in an actual investigation.
