Deadly Explosions Hit Two Indonesian Hotels

Indonesia Ritz

Two strikes: Jakarta’s Ritz-Carlton, pictured, was one of two luxury hotels bombed in Indonesia on Friday.

The Marriott and Ritz-Carlton hotels in Jakarta were the targets of two explosions on Friday in the first such attacks in four years. Nine people were killed and 50 injured in blasts that occurred within minutes of each other, according to the Associated Press. “There are indications of suicide bombs,” one official said.

AP via Google News:

The blasts at the J.W. Marriott and Ritz-Carlton hotels, located side-by-side in an upscale business district in the capital, blew out windows and scattered debris and glass across the street, kicking up a thick plume of smoke. Facades of both hotels were reduced to twisted metal.

Alex Asmasubrata, who was jogging nearby, said he walked into the Marriott before emergency services arrived and “there were bodies on the ground, one of them had no stomach,” he said. “It was terrible.”

The Marriott, which was attacked in 2003 in a bombing blamed on Southeast Asian terror network Jemaah Islamiyah, was hit first, followed by the blast at the Ritz two minutes later. The attacks came just two weeks after presidential vote expected to re-elect incumbent Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono who has been credited with stabilizing a nation previously wracked by militancy.

I’m just waiting for Mr. Xerox to produce one his articles “proving” Mossad was behind it.  He’s always got one, you know, and “The Contingent” all immediately accept it as gospel, no matter how unfounded and outlandish.

I see this car bombing as a symbolic slap in Obama(s)face.  Did he go to a Muslim School there while he was an Islamic Indonesian Citizen. When he was Barry Soetero

Notice the article: they carried the parts into the Hotels and assembled the bomb in one of the suites. Implying that they could do that on Obama (s) current soil.

We can’t let the bedrock of our democracy, (hotel)profits, be infringed upon.  No way!

God forbid a hotel would need to make a profit. Better the terrorists should slaughter the innocent before the hotel can make its payroll. What a tard.

Once again, terrorists have killed and wounded innocent people. My sympathies to the victims of these tragic attacks and their families. If you want to know more I have collected some good sites or articles (around 200) to get lots of latest information about Jakarta Bombings of 2009 at the Marriott and Ritz Carlton Hotels (covers the news, videos, pictures etc.,). Well, we can borrow more money from the Chinese, take our military there and carry on Bush’s/Obama’s war on terror.  Nothing succeeds like success, after all!

We can’t let the bedrock of our democracy, (hotel)profits, be infringed upon.  No way!
