Some presidents have been so revered that cities were named after them. So far, it’s been slim pickings for George W. Bush, whose list of honors now includes having his name on the owner’s suite at the Texas Rangers’ baseball stadium. It’s a fitting tribute for the man who once co-owned the team and a reminder of how different the world might be if only he’d kept that job.

AP via Google:

After the completion of his second term in the White House earlier this year, Bush moved to Dallas. His first big appearance locally was throwing out the first pitch at the Rangers’ homer opener April 6.

The Rangers plan to dedicate the “President George W. Bush Owner’s Suite” before Thursday night’s game against the Houston Astros.

So they are RENAMING this suite after G.W. I’m not impressed. That means it is a second hand, recycled or a hand me down perk. Wow, and even George W. is unworthy of such an offer. Wonder if that room comes with a set of balls for him as well, since he never had any to begin with, as he managed to skip serving this country thanks to daddy. If it does come with a set of balls, it is certain that those balls were made in CHINA, you betcha!

Remember a few years back when a sewage plant in California wanted to rename itself to honor of G.W. Bush? Now that would be much more appropriate for the POS that he is!

It’s nice when the people of Arlington give such a warm welcome to the guy who screwed them so royally on the stadium that most of them can’t afford to visit, at least as a customer.  The proles are, of course, permitted to serve beverages and food, and are provided with brooms and waste cans to clean up for the Bushes and their buds.

And who could forget the “loan” of one share in the Rangers brokered by Bill Dewitt that W sold for over $1 million?

What the Bush family did to Texas is not unique, but that doesn’t make it any less criminal.

They should have honored him by using him for the ball. His head ought to be good for something.

He f***ed other people over at that job too.  He and his buds got something like 270 acres of prime real estate condemned for the stadium which was supposed to benefit the public, and bought the land for $1 per foot.

17 acres went to the ballpark and the rest somehow was used by the partners to build an office park that helped make Bush’s personal fortune.  One suit went through and that former land owner was able to show that the land was worth far, far more and the losers were cheated and should have gotten AT LEAST $10/foot….

But at least Bush’s cheating people was on a much smaller scale.  Still, when you’re the one who’s screwed, you don’t care whether you are one of 10 or one of 10 million.
