S. Korea Expected to Seek Official U.S. Nuclear ProtectionPosted on Jun 15, 2009
Shortly after the U.N. Security Council imposed new sanctions against North Korea for carrying out a nuclear test, the communist country has reacted by warning of possible nuclear war. As a result, South Korean President Lee Myung-bak, who is to meet with President Obama on Tuesday, is expected to seek a written commitment of nuclear protection from the U.S.

who gives a **** about what n korea does? first off who are we to say who can/cannot have nuclear weapons…arrogant a**holes we are. second, we put them on notice: if we get attacked and have evidence that n korea is behind it…we kill you all. end of story. no paying them off, no sanctions just a promise

hello. he is coming for his bag of fresh green reserve notes. write on one of them a renewed commitment, and there you go. it will be amongst the relics discovered in the nuclear-safe bomb shelter.

This changes nothing. We have been pledged to protect South Korea for decades. Maneuvering around the issue of those journalists is my guess.
