U.S. Invites Iran for Hot Dogs and Fireworks

After a three-decade ban, U.S. embassies will be allowed to invite Iranian officials to come celebrate America’s declaration of independence from Britain and its overpriced tea. Substantive conversations still aren’t allowed, but the BBC reports that “small talk” is a go.

BBC:

The two countries have no diplomatic relations and the ban on substantive discussions remains in place, but this 4 July American diplomats will be allowed to go beyond the courtesy handshake and engage in small talk with their Iranian counterparts.

The move is in line with the Obama administration’s attempts to engage diplomatically with America’s long-time foe.

One small Step towards Diplomacy, perhaps leading to one large leap for Humanity.
don’t just limit the ammendities to the poor culinary offerings of the Brits- Be sure to have not just ketchup & mustard, but relish, onions, kraut and chili…- given them the Freedom to Choose their toppings!Adn Don’t forget all the side salads, fries,and Beer either!

IRAN’S ANSWER - “WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO STOP MURDERING IRANIANS???”

Iran should publicly call on Obama and the US government to announce publicly that it is ceasing its bombings in Iran, its assassinations in Iran, its arson and murders in Iran. Ceasing its $400m attempt to destabilize Iran and to engineer a change of government in Iran.
