I’m sure there are millions of e-mails being generated every day to all of my old e-mail addresses. About the only thing one could expect would be for the ISP to identify discarded e-mail accounts still receiving mail and back track to the source and issue a cease and desist request to the originator. It’s definitely not my problem some inert machine has my old e-mail addresses and still keeps generating messages. If you’ve ever tried to unsubscribe to unwanted e-mail, you know some operators just have no idea what the word “NO” means. But I’m sure the ISP operators will figure out some way to increase user fees to cover for the extra cover of cleaning up the network traffic.

This story should be starting a conversation rather than ending it.  Who is saying what and why?  I have taken a first pass at my thoughts about this at:

And the “government” won’t do a damned thing aobut it, because they are in bed with every corrupt scam ever imagined.
