NASA / JPL

NASA’s first effort to loft a satellite to help scientists determine where carbon dioxide is produced and stored around the globe ended in failure when the $270 million spacecraft crashed near Antarctica. Researchers are currently dependent on land-based monitoring stations that don’t provide a full picture.

BBC:

Officials said the fairing—- the part of the rocket which covers the satellite on top of the launcher—did not separate properly.

Data indicates the spacecraft crashed into the ocean near Antarctica.

The Orbiting Carbon Observatory (OCO) was intended to help pinpoint the key locations on our planet’s surface where CO2 is being emitted and absorbed.

Verne Arnold,

From the main quote on your website, iauthorbooks.com,

“The mind is sharper and keener in seclusion and uninterrupted solitude. No big laboratory is needed in which to think. Originality thrives in seclusion free of outside influences beating upon us to cripple the creative mind. Be alone, that is the secret of invention; be alone, that is when ideas are born.”—Nikola Tesla “

This is a bold statement, suggesting that solitude is all a person may need to develop original though. While there may be some benefits to solitude, Socrates himself argues that knowledge may only be obtained through the interaction of minds.

What a waste of money that could be better spent!  Global warming is a hoax on a grand scale.  It started out as a legitimate scientific investigation, but was then hijacked by the hucksters——Al Gore was one of their dupes.  Global warming as we see today is part of a normal cycle.  Whether man has accelerated this phenomenon is a moot point because global warming leads to global cooling because of specific geologic conditions and activities that will take place.  The cooling could be as mild as the cold winters we had in the late 1800’s or another ice-age, which of course would be more devastating than a warming trend.  Generally unknown and not spoken too loudly is the fact that global warming would be of more benefit than detriment to the world’s population at large.

We wouldent want the truth to get out, about the global warming scam.
No money can be made out of that.

Some failures pay big bucks.

Am I correct in understanding that the likely outcome of analysis of the satellite’s data would portray the U.S. in a very negative light?
