White House / Eric Draper

Following tradition, former President Bush left an envelope on his desk for his successor. The notation “44” refers to Barack Obama’s place in history—he is the 44th president.

The Boston Globe has assembled a stunning array of photos from Inauguration Day. Images from Washington, D.C., and from viewing parties around the world capture the excitement and wonder of that historic day. The subjects include Kenyans in Obama’s father’s home town, former Olympians Tommie Smith and John Carlos embracing, and crowds at the capital’s Mall as photographed from a satellite.

What is this feeling?

Is it simply that it feels so good to have you know who gone? Quite impossible to not feel the great national, heavy sigh of relief!

Joy, hope and promise. Even those who steadfastly refused to support PEBO before he became President, are caught up in it!

It is quite impossible to miss the moment or the mood. Thank you America, thank you.

My cynicism actually melted at these photos.  A couple of billion people across the globe came together at the same point in time with the same hope for a better world in their hearts.

Yes indeed, a picture is worth a thousand words!

This link is not intended for the Zionists and their supporters, for killing children is the art that cowardly Zionists most excel at doing!

But this link is a challenge to the Americans whose treasure, weapons, cheering or silence make the massacre of those children possible. I dare you to watch all these pictures and have a moment of reflection about what all this should mean to you! Needless to say that a picture is worth a thousand words!

My favorite, # 42 changing the picture of the President at Guantanamo.
